Well that's unexpected though only about 5 years late. For some reason I doubt it is will be cheaper or better quality than the German sets, but I'd love to be surprised.

Seems like the region free import has hit $30 delivered regularly so let's see what MC can do

I already have the German blu-rays from Universal.

Great series though. Highly recommended.

Same boat as everybody else. Got my German set, hope the people who haven't seen or bought the series pick it up and enjoy it.

Now, maybe those extended episodes from S4 finally presented in HD would sway me otherwise, but I doubt that'll happen.

This does give me a little hope for Monk and Psych, though, since MC is getting some of Uni's cable shows of that era.

The German set has 18 discs; this one has 12. While it's not surprising, it likely means the PQ will be inferior.

Nonetheless, an official US release is a welcome development. I enjoyed the show a lot and hope those who haven't seen it pick it up.

I've been meaning to pick it up for a few years, even though I didn't like the last season, felt more soapy than usual... but yeah, nice to finally see it coming out but I'd get it from Germany from Universal before getting it from Mill Creek. I do wonder if they fix the episode order like they did with Happy Endings, season 1 was aired incredibly out of order... episode 7 was about Zoe's first day at school, but there were multiple episodes prior where she was already attending school. They removed that from reruns but it'd be a nice bonus to have them in storyline order for once.

How is the German release as far as English-friendly menus and text?

Also, it's weird that there's three Jacks on the cover...

If I remember correctly, as soon as the discs boot up, they give you an option to read everything in English. The audio is also DTS-MA 5.1, which isn't a guarantee for Mill Creek titles.

Does it have English subtitles?

If I am reading the box correctly and "Untertitel" means subtitles, it has German, English, and French.

I just got my German set two weeks ago. I will stick with that unless reviews are very favorable for this.

However, I see that the German release had individual seasons also...is it possible they simply are putting everything together to fill the discs?

I may have to wait for the reviews. ...I saw this via streaming, I liked it but not as much as say warehouse 13.

...maybe they redistributed the special features since it’s only a full series set, where the German set is combined from separate seasons?

The original German complete series set of Eureka was released 3 months prior to the individual sets. Not the other way around.

I wish they'd focus on stuff that doesn't already have an international release, but if this gets them a bit of extra cash to help release other Universal titles, that's cool with me. I'm sure there'll be some casual buyers in stores or maybe some of those diehard fans that are against importing will buy this release.

there's four, look again.
(Also, it appears the background is also the image used by Amazon Prime for Season 2. foreground Jack is positioned differently, and you can't see blue-robe Jack there.)

Mill Creek's page makes no mention of any special features, and the runtime given is equal to 77 episodes of around 43.5 minutes. I'm expecting bare bones. Which also means I'm now gonna see about the German release (that I didn't know about until today).

The German item drops in price to 26-30EUR not uncommonly (last time was a couple weeks ago). I think it's 40EUR now which is still just a little over $40-41USD shipped once VAT is pulled and still lower than the $48+tax preorder price at Deep Discount I'm seeing on the MC item (76 MSRP)
