To compound on what you posted.... I really think that Bill should just sub license whatever titles he still has the rights to, to DF. After last night's stream, it's clear (to me now) that Bill is just too jaded / lost the passion to effectively make anything more out of Code Red. All he ever does anymore is complain and point the finger at others. Walt seems to be just fine with Scorpion and could also be an option releasing CR licensed material.
I can't believe I'm going to support DF here.... but It seems like Demon is motivated to grow DF, make changes and take risks. I can definitely see DF taking over CRs remaining material and making a great run in the independent market. While Bill feels that selling a 1,000 copies isn't worth his time, Demon would be completely happy with that. Just shows he is a fan just as much as we are..... My impressions from the stream last night anyway.

You’re right, subtitle mistakes are unacceptable

Lots? I've noticed maybe 2 and I always watch with subtitles, why does everything have to be one extreme or the other with everything

Yeah, I think it's safe to assume the next 24 will include

Yeti: Giant of the 20th Century
Redneck
The Banker
Chinese Hercules/Bruce's Ninja Secret
Hollywood High

You clearly haven't seen their release of Grandmother's House with the subtitles on.

I'm pretty sure VS was providing subtitles far before other indie labels like Code Red tried to play catch up. To be fair licensing subtitles is very expensive so I think Vinegar Syndrome decided to listen to the audio and transcribe it themselves, which would explain the mistakes.

The results: the majority of VS titles have subtitles, done in house, not perfect but I applaud the effort. Hundreds of VS titles have subtitles, can Code Red say the same?

I’ve been saying for years, here and elsewhere, that Bill should sell off his company if he hates his customers and the industry so much.

Dudes - you must be exhausted from stashing away all that toilet paper. Just give it a few month after the rich kids get theirs.

Just when I give DF a bit of support, they pull some crap like this. No wonder why I've never given them a penny out of my pocket.

He's pressing at least 1000 discs of it and im sure he's not getting 1000 memberships. he's also a known liar and showman. If he presses it, it will be available to the public because of "extreme outcry and earth shattering controversy over dark force's biggest release ever."

I don't see how that is any different to the Disney Movie Club titles being exclusive to their members? It's an incentive to sign up, Dark Force could have the title exclusive to the club for a short period of time before making it available for general release, that'll still be better than what Disney do. I say Dark Force should also try to get Terror Express as an exclusive for the club!

I'm patiently waiting for details of the club for international customers.

The difference is that when you join the Disney movie club to gain access to their Exclusive titles, you only need to buy 4 of their titles at regular price and once that is fulfilled you can cancel the club at any time. I Also forgot to mention that Disney movie club gives 4 free movies to sign up.

Darkforce entertainment is asking you to spend $400.00 on 24 unknown titles just to be able to get Blue Monkey.

I know VS does the whole Subscription thing as well but at least they make everything available to non subscribers and don't make releases exclusive to subscribers.

Well nothing is finalised yet. As I suggested Dark Force could have certain titles as exclusives merely as incentives for joining the club and then make them available for general release either through their site or through MVD on Amazon and other retailers around 6 months later or so.

Artwork looks great!

That would be a great incentive to join the club and not punish those that didn't join.
