Slightly off topic but I was thinking recently about Gamera's history in regards to MST3K. And was thinking of how cool it would be if they all got together again and watched the Heisei era Gamera trilogy. I wonder how they would react to them?

I think I'm even more excited about this release than I was the Criterion Godzilla collection!

Basically one of the sister online stores bought out by SuperD/Alliance several years ago and are now run in parallel with Deep Discount, BLowitoutahere, the old DVD Planet and a few others still using their old storefronts. I'd say above average these days

Slightly different front end, but as far as I'm aware they are owned, operated, and supplied by the same Alliance distribution Warehouse -- same labels, same shipping, same invoices

The problem is, my job could not be back until the new school year starts for all I know, so I might not have another paycheck until Sept 20th after I get paid this week.

Also, the first edition versions of the Gamera set will be sold out by then.

Sorry to hear about that. Here in MI, our schools have been closed for the remainder of the month. A lot of teachers facing uncertainty.

I have normally ordered from them on Import cds eBay store but never used there web sight so I tried a test run on a in stock item , First absolutely no cancellations allowed for anything .

I do not get this at all after checking my debit card

3 pending charges of $14.37 , $14.35 , $0 IMPORT CDS Pending

I hope 2 of them drop off by tomorrow .

I've ordered cds from them in the past and had no problems. I was curious how they would handle preorders/price adjustments so I contacted them and just got this in response:

"If a pre-order is placed, you can cancel the order before the release date and if the price of the item goes down, you are able to request a price adjustment before the first 10 days of the shipment."

Since this is the cheapest for me so far, I think I'll be pre-ordering from them.

Not bad. However, for me, tax and shipping makes it about $5 more than importcds.

Shipping is free. I'm surprised you'd be charged tax at one, and not the other, since they're both owned by the same parent company.

edit: I'm charged tax at both, plus an addiitonal shipping charge at ImportCD's.

Does anyone know what was the English dub from vs Zigra on the Shout disc Because I believe this one never had a AIP dub or no English at all . I had to import a Japanese dvd many years ago as this one was the only movie never shown on regular tv , Not sure about cable .

Any leaks/news rumors about how Arrow is doing in acquiring the AIP dubs for the for ones that had them ? I like to sell my shout dvds to help pay for this set if they can get those dubs , I hope .

Zigra had the Sandy Frank dub.
Full specs for the Arrow set have not been revealed.
