Vilya or other Sony TV owners that have Sony Android TV’s. Is there a way to see the source video frame rate? Is there a way to see the actual displayed frame rate? Can you add apps from the Play Store?
Asked because I have installed Refresh Rate on my Nvidia Shield Pro and I’m in the process of getting it set up. I watch a fair amount of stuff with 23.976, 24 and 25 frame rates. The 24 and 25 content stutter steps and really bugs me. On the Sony UBP-X1000ES outputting original frame is just checking one radio button, unfortunately, the apps are limited and no Dolby Atmos via streaming. |

It may be just me but I have not met any morons that posses the hardware and certifications that you do!
![]() Will your Panasonic 9000 show this kind of information for streaming? On my Sony projector I can select Menu and scroll down to Information and it will show me Frame Rate, Resolution, Lamp Time, etc. |

To be more accurate, Netflix said:
" it would reduce the bit rate of all its video streams for 30 days." "We estimate that this will reduce Netflix traffic on European networks by around 25% while also ensuring a good quality service for our members," a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement." Netflix also said that some of their customers would not even notice the difference, which can be read in a number of ways like that being because their customers are not that demanding to begin with maybe? "A Netflix spokesperson told CNN Business the reduction may mean some users "see a reduction in perceptible video quality," while others won't see any change." Allowing you to freeze the football (sport) subscription until it restarts to save money. Only problem is, you can only do it by phone and no one can get through to them yet!
I’m going to squeeze them for a huge reduction. My contract is up and I will just threaten to leave. Not because of the virus, just the rising costs. |
