Placed mine on the 19th. Still haven’t even been charged. Think I might call them.

Mine from DMC says it's supposed to be delivered the 30th, although my past with them is that it will show up a couple days earlier than that. Fingers crossed!

Hopefully then we can get some answers about TLJ's DV status, whether the TLJ BD has the score only track, whether the BDs of 4-6 are from the newer masters, what the extras consist of etc, rather than this boring period where all people do is post pics or vids of the ****ing packaging rather than go into any kind of detail about the actual contents. First time is fine, informational even, but after that it gets tedious.

I can’t get the 60 or even 50% sale at dmc right now. Guess I’ll keep the Best Buy exclusive after all.

Bill Hunt is breaking down the set now....

The Last Jedi BD includes the score only option. Commentaries seem to be on the 4K UHD discs as well.

I don't think so, at least out here on the Left Coast. Best Buy is a major supplier of PCs, Macs, laptops, printers and a wide range of computer accessories. Given that many people are now working from home, the company can probably make a reasonable case for its stores being "essential".
Add modems and WiFi routers to keep people stuck at home connected to the internet and that adds to the argument. The only tipping point could be if a lot of its employees, who are in the stores handling orders and curbside deliveries, are getting infected and ill. That might force Best Buy to rethink curbside delivery vs. home delivery.

It seems the BDs are new, not the 2011’s!

Looking forward to his reviews. I don’t visit his site too often anymore, but he goes all out for Star Wars releases. The menu screens look really nice.

Not exactly new, they're the last version of Lucas messing around with the OT when he was going to release them in 3D to theaters, one a year, before that fell through after Phantom Menace 3D and the sale to the Mouse. Irks me that there are 3D conversion masters of Menace, Clones, and Revenge just sitting there gathering digital dust. Anakin free-falling through the towering skies of Coruscant in 3D would invite me to watch (and purchase!) that film again.

I mean, yeah, not new but better than the 2011 masters.

It would really suck if TLJ in the box set was HDR10 only but Disney might just do that to make the entire set uniform. One thing though, and maybe it was just me, but I thought that, in some ways, TLJ looked a bit better in HDR10 than DV. While the image was bit darker, the HDR10 colors were better saturated. I had to boost my LG OLED's color setting to get the DV's saturation to match the HDR10's. Either way, outfits that buy used movies don't give you a whole lot of coin even for 4Ks so my older TLJ 4K will likely stay on the shelf.

yeah I desperately want the Prequels in 3D. Feel like I'm one of the few who enjoyed seeing Phantom Menace that way.

And yet some people say the opposite, that the DV is better, albeit the streaming version: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...4#post17447744. To me, the DV and HDR10 both from disc are literally identical for grading, as well they should be seeing as it's virtually SDR in an HDR container.

TLJ BD has score-only track: https://twitter.com/billhuntbits/sta...647573505?s=21

And the Target-exclusive bonus: https://twitter.com/billhuntbits/sta...854721026?s=21

EDIT: just saw Jumpman already posted this.
