So, does anyone know if they are still shipping? I wanted to place an order, but no point if I don't know when I'll get it?

They normally have a “March Madness” sale that starts in the last week of March (this week), but given the current events, it probably won’t happen.

Anyone know who has the rights to Invaders From Mars now? Or who may be likely to release it now?

I ignored that release because I thought it was the original and since I have the the DVD I wasn't going to get it. I can't upgrade everything

I just found out it was an 80s remake. Somehow missed that one...

It's an MGM title so who knows.

Yeah, that one. Also I usually end up buying a big box from them in July or so for some kind of summer deal.

How much of a difference is there from the unrated version of Jason goes to hell? Is it like the first friday the 13th where it's just like 30 seconds or minutes

Let's put it this way...

The unrated cut features the most violent (and arguably coolest) kill in the entire franchise. The R-rated cut only has about 2 seconds of this kill.

There are many other differences, but that one scene makes the entire silly film worth it.

It’s three minutes longer...which is quite a bit of blood n’ guts. There are moments where heads get squished and cartoonish geysers of blood erupt. There’s also one of the nastiest kills in the franchise where a girl is literally split in two. To me, the unrated cut makes a big difference.

I prefer Kevin Bacon's kill in the R rated cut. The rubber neck is just too obvious in the unrated shot.

When do you guys think that Scream will announce the Friday set (that is if they're actually doing it of course)? With the first leak, It seems that it's supposed to be a release later in the summer. If that's the case wouldn't it be announce probably within the next month?

I apologize if this has been discussed multiple times already. The anticipation is killing me!

Can someone help me with this....
I believe this is either a TV movie or episode from the late 60s or early 70s.... a middle aged couple is in a huge waiting room, waiting for their number(s) to be called. The husband is called first while the wife waits. She then can't find him and it turns out because they were drinking and driving, they were already dead (both killed in a car accident).
Can anyone identify this? (it reminds of the Night Gallery episode The Waiting Room).

Not sure this is the one you're remembering, but it sounds very much like the Ghost Story/Circle of Fear episode "Time of Terror" which first aired on 22 December 1972 and which starred Patricia Neal.

That anthology series is built into my DNA, since I saw all the episodes when I was a very small child and it scared the heck out of me! The series is very tame and slow-moving of course by today's standards, but for me it still has a distinct nostalgic charm. It follows the "rule of thirds," in my opinion---one-third of the episodes are pretty darn good, one-third are okay, and one-third are sub-par.

It's available on DVD; very high quality transfer.

It was likely a planned July announcement at Comic-Con. Even with that event up in the air I would expect it to be announced around that same time. Most likely release date in my mind would be September 18th or September 25th.

Thanks. Does the ending have Ms. Neal in a large waiting room, waiting for her or her husband's number to be called?

It's set in a sort of hotel/casino, with Patricia Neal's husband gone missing in the most mysterious way. There is an story element involving people waiting at the resort for their number to be called.

And hey, here it is on YouTube! Please do let us know if this is the story you were remembering:
