The Silver Lining to the Paramount mistake

What HD-DVD and BDA should do is charge some sort of entrance fee, a fee that makes going exclusive expensive. Once your in one camp or the other or BOTH and decide you will go exclusive with the opposition, this is fine, but if you want to "rejoin" later, you pay the HD-DVD or BDA camps a 50 million dollar fee to rejoin. That should stop this silly jumping around as Paramount has now done twice.

You do know that Viacom owns Blockbuster Video who supports Blu Ray, should we stop renting Blu Ray titles from Blockbuster now ?
