It's mainly about the rivalry between Edison and Westinghouse. Many negative reviews are because it short changes Tesla but I thought it was fine. I was very impressed with the score that plays almost continuously through the movie. I wasn't quite certain what year this movie came out...IMDB says 2017, USA theatrical release was 2019, so I went with 2019. The Current War is absolutely in my top 10 of 2019.
