Also the things we loved as kids, we realize were much terrible when we're adults watching them.
Ha.

First off, this is a ridiculous generalization. I grew up on a healthy diet of classic film--Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese. I could discern quality filmmaking from crap.

Second, at what point do I count as an adult? When I was 19, I loved Attack of the Clones. When I was 22, I loved Revenge of the Sith. Your patronizing attitude only reveals you as someone with a narrow mind and an intolerance for dissenting opinions.

Third, George Lucas created these films (including the OT) for kids, so saying that "only kids enjoy those movies" in reference to the prequels as if that's some kind of dig is missing the point of these movies in a pretty huge way.

Like most of you, I have quibbles with the prequels. These are imperfect films, but if you can't love something that is imperfect then you don't know what love really is. So, yes, prequel lover since Day 1. Get over it.

Yeah that's it. Nice reach.

Plenty of problems with Poe and Finn too but I was trying to stick to secondary characters.

Jar Jar sucks but there is nothing of note to the characters I listed above.
This is why I can't take Prequel lovers seriously.

Indeed, some of them don't even have names it seems!

I think you mean Maz (not Mas), Zorii ("Poe's girl") and Jannah ("Finn's girl") FWIW.

Funnily enough, I've still got one of these in its shrinkwrap waiting to be freed and enjoyed...

Me too. Finally seeing all the stuff referred to in the OT was amazing.

I rewatched TROS last night.

For me personally, it’s easily the worst of the Disney trilogy.

...incredibly flawed storytelling imo.

Nope. Like Jar Jar quite a bit.
