I take it that is just purely wishful thinking, and there are no rumours of this happening (anytime in the foreseeable future)?

Right now it seems only the directors cut of The Wrath of Khan is in 4K on ITunes and it’s $14.99.

Well, it's Star Trek, and with Picard getting a lot of attention and renewing interest in the brand, I assume it's only a matter of time.
