A 4 year old tiger at a Bronx zoo in New York has tested positive for coronavirus.

Great now we can stress about trying to not pass it on to our pets...

Things should work in theory, social-distancing rules should work, but we've already been warned that peoples' exercise freedoms may be removed in the UK. For some reason we think sunbathing is exercising ...

A footballer in the UK was caught out recently, after telling people to observe distancing, he thought he'd get his workout by ordering a couple of escorts for him and his mate for the evening ...

To date the CDC has not received any reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with COVID-19 in the United States. Infectious disease experts and multiple international and domestic human and animal health organizations continue to agree there is no evidence at this point to indicate that pets, under natural conditions, spread COVID-19 to other animals, including people.

There's been at least 2 other confirmed cases of owners passing onto their cats...

Ugh, it would depress the shit out of me if I got it and passed it to my dogs. Looks like they get the same symptoms we do.

Pets can rarely contract it, but it doesn't really do anything to them.

That's what I use along with Clobetasol Propionate and Betamethasone Dipropionate. She now has me on Gentamicin Sulfate for reoccurring problematic small areas (size of a quarter) but the damn stuff is so expensive: $25 for 1.5g. My drug plan changed this year. Last year all I had to reach was $200 out of pocket before my insurance kicked in. No monthly charge. Come 1/1/2020 it went to $450 and I now have to pay $25/mo.

Thank God the antibiotic I take for the staph infections is only $3.80 for a 14 day supply (take 2 per day).

Yeah that's sad.

It states in the article i posted that the tigers were developing dry cough and respiratory illness. I guess some ppl are replying before reading whats going on. :/

We should very much pay attention to this. Cause if tigers are getting it(and apparently house cats) then we can't assume dogs and other pets won't with the same outcomes. Who knows if they can't pass it as well..

Aren't we all supposed to self-flagellate on Good Friday???

Granted, it's been awhile since I've been to church...

Single dose of common agricultural drug Ivermectin found to “essentially eliminate all viral material” of COVID-19 coronavirus within 48 hours

https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-04-...ronavirus.html

A new study published in the journal Antiviral Research finds that Ivermectin, a common agricultural drug used as a de-wormer for cats, dogs, horses and livestock — achieves a 5000-fold reduction in replication of the SARS-cov-2 “Wuhan” coronavirus.

Ivermectin is sold at agricultural supply stores and online retailers such as Amazon.com. It’s normally sold as an edible paste or a sterile solution for injection into cattle and other livestock. The drug is FDA-approved for certain treatments, although not yet FDA approved for treatment of COVID-19. We are not recommending it for human consumption until more data are available.

The study, is entitled, “The FDA-approved Drug Ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro.”

Have you actually done any research? Just because a tiger had a cough does not equate to cats or dogs having symptoms.if you look that up you will see plenty of sources that say pets like that may rarely contract it but rarely if ever exhibit any symptoms. Don't just assume what applies to tigers applies to all animals..Some may rarely get symptoms, but odds are they won't..

I might have to start wearing my own rag on my hair if I have to go out. I have waist length hair, and it’s very easy to carry germs on it.
