Blomkamp is directing a film (well, hopefully, considering Robocop, Alien 3 and others went up in smoke) called Inferno with Taylor Kitsch. Was announced in October 19. He's always said he wanted to do it, so maybe he'll get to it after that one.

Online they were saying something like this takes about 3 years to produce so when it was discussed a bit more in 2019 by him maybe by 2022 you'll see District 10.
