Well, the last reel of 28 DAYS LATER was shot in 35mm (when they're up in the cottage), to provide a visually jarring contrast to rest of the movie.

Loved the look of this when I saw it in the theatre and I think this will look great on blu-ray!

28 Days Later is brilliant. 28 Weeks Later is a cheap sequel.

I'll get 28 Days Later. And nobody better be complaining about "grain" on that.

28 Weeks later is one of the scarriest films ive ever seen. The soundtrack will also blow away almost anything you've heard, it is a WICKED awesome movie.

Not one of the scariest for me, but there are great INTENSE moments in this film. I loved both movies equally and will pick each one up on blu

28 weeks later will have tons of grain haha and it was shot on 35mm added grainy and shaky camera to mimic the first movie which is sad haha. the opening seen was all dark and grainny as hell. this movie sucked anyways.

28 days later was way superior. grainy but was intentional cause it was shot on digital and transfered to film and they added grain to make it look more like film.

28 days was a feast then 28 weeks later i had a massive crap and it stunk.

28 days later will have a ton of MPEG2 compression.. even if it's encoded in AVC,that the beauty of MINIDV LOL! It's there in the master! So don't complain about that.

And Horror Movies need grain IMHO, for this gretty amorphere and to hide thing a little or some kind of filters...
