I know I'm in the minority here but I greatly preferred the sillier Spectre over Skyfall. I find Quantum of Solace and Skyfall to be kind of slogs to get through. Kind of disappointed that the next Bond film looks kind of glum again, when it seemed like Craig was finally getting the bug out of his ass, that had made his Bond such a grim and joyless character to watch.

I kinda agree. Skyfall feels more like a Mission Impossible rather than a Bond movie.

But I didn't like FYEO, so skyfall it is.

Doesn't necessarily sound like a bad thing, really. Espionage is still espionage.

Skyfall is in my opinion, stronger in almost every regard to any of Moore's films as Bond, my personal favorites of his included (LALD, TMWTGG).

I agree, that's just my personal preference by saying I'd rather my Bond movies feel like Bond, and M:I to feel like M:I.

Skyfall is my vote here.

Incredible to see that in the "Loser bracket" Skyfall comes up against, not Goldfinger or From Russia With Love (arguably the top two Bond films ever), but against a mediocre, blah, tiring, middle-of-the-road, uninspiring, Roger Moore offering in For Your Eyes Only. Sean Connery? Nowhere to be found in either final match-up. Funny how that worked out.

So... HenriDeadMort has been banned the day before the final round of his contest. Alas, I guess we'll never know who wins between Casino Royale and GoldenEye. The conspiratorial part of my mind believes Henri got himself banned so he wouldn't have to see Casino take the top prize.

In other news: the Eyes have it for me. I'm okay being in the minority here, but I love FYEO.

Anyway, had it been between Casino Royale, Goldfinger and From Russia With Love, all would be worthy number ones. Between Casino Royale and GoldenEye, there's a clear winner.

Anyway, I'm voting FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, because I genuinely enjoy the movie. Also, the theatrical poster was more...interesting.

My 3 favorite Bond movies will end up the top 3

My favorite (Casino Royale) seems likely to win but I’d be fine with Goldeneye which was my favorite movie ever growing up.

And henrideadmortwhoever is banned while it happens, he who laughed at me as I proclaimed Casino Royale the best of all at the beginning of the tourney! And he is the creator of the tourney, super salty about the results!

The internet finds ways to entertain when I’m bored at home for sure
