Pre-ordered the package deal last night. I had to support this new label even if the world ceases to exist before the discs arrive.

I have to say, I’m buzzed about this new label; we need more labels prepared to dig out the obscurities. The fact they cite Spaghetti Westerns (alongside the more obvious giallo and horror genres) as the type of films they’re planning to release bodes well, there are so many overlooked classics out there.

From Diabolik newsletter sent out earlier this month.

"DiabolikDVD is proud to announce an alliance with Cauldron Films!"

Not sure what that means exactly.

I just pre-ordered AMERICAN RICKSHAW direct from Cauldron. I’m excited by the prospect we could have the next VS on our hands. Only time will tell. Their “future releases” page lists both a 70s and 80s Euro Title with no further information. Hmm...the mind boggles.

I got a shipping notification early this morning on these two titles, which I ordered direct from Cauldron. Slated to arrive Monday. Looking forward to checking them out!

It's a complete unknown to me. But I'm willing to take a chance on someone putting out obscure Martino flicks. I'll share my thoughts after I've been able to check out the disc!

How's that possible? It's a pre-order and isn't out until "on or around" mid May as the site says

Paid pre-orders like these often ship out much earlier than the release date when ordered direct from the studios. Severin, Vinegar Syndrome, Synapse, etc.. generally always ship before the listed dates barring any production delays.

Sorry folks - this was a complete brain fart on my part. The shipping notice was not from Cauldron, but rather regarding a Massacre Video order I had completely forgotten about. The shipping notice didn't have the business name attached, and for some reason I thought it was regarding the Cauldron titles.
