Why such a low score on the video quality on the trilogy? Is it that bad ?
I’ll stick with the 4k despecialized edition for now.
I’ll only pick up rouge one for now ,it looks like a great release.

As I plan to start my 11 film marathon, I was wondering if I should add this movie as a 12th entry and, if so, where should it fall in the sequence?

I own this, but I have never seen it. Include it or leave it out?

I love the Clone Wars show but wouldn't even think about including that ^ movie in any kind of saga run-through. Clone Wars S6 is IMO required viewing between Episodes II and III but the CW movie would be pointless.

It's really just a feature-length pilot for the TV series, and I'm not so sure it really stands on its own as a bridge between Episodes II and III.

Season 6 is important because that's the one that sets up Order 66, pays off the Sifo-Dias plotline from AOTC, and Yoda learns how to become a Force ghost. Is that right?

Reiterating what’s been said, I wouldn’t watch the Clone Wars movie with the saga. I’d keep it for when you marathon the series, since it’s essentially a pilot, and frankly, nowhere near the best that series has to offer.

I'll leave it out of my marathon then; thanks for the recommendations.

I never bought the animated TV series; they look to be a little pricey now at first glance. Are they worth it?

Yes, the series is worth owning, but if you don’t want to invest just yet and have Disney Plus you can watch the entire thing there, along with the new season. And the new season is in 4K.

It would fall between Episodes II & III but is inessential for an 11 movie marathon to be honest.

However, if you ever want to watch The Clone Wars (CG version) it is essential, and should be the first thing you watch before diving into the series proper, as it introduces Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's padawan learner. That release is basically the opening arc of 4 22 minute episodes, George Lucas decided that a theatrical release would be the best publicity for the series to come.

Why not watch the series in chronological order? The episodes "Cat & Mouse" and "The Hidden Enemy" take place before the movie.
