As stupid as the film is, Van Helsing, which Daviau shot, is a gorgeous looking film!

It pisses me off that "film critics" with a massive following like The Nostalgia Critic blast Spielberg movies for having "awful" cinematography when Spielberg is one of the few directors out there who've mastered the art of blocking a scene. Go watch E.T. or Empire of the Sun to see what I mean.
