Today I had an idea for a machine than can transmit pictures across great distances, I was going to name it the “long distance picture box” but was told at the patten office that such a machine already exists, and that it’s called a television.

Me: Thank you. I used to not wear glasses when younger, but need them as I am near sighted.

Girl: Does that mean you see close up but can’t see far away?

Me: Yes. That is exactly what near sighted is. I can’t see without my glasses if not wearing them.

Girl: That’s because you have gotten used to wearing them.

Me: What do you mean?

Girl: If you stop wearing your glasses, your eyesight will return to normal.

Me: I don’t think that’s how glasses work.

so my brother made a suggestion email last week since his family can't come down celebrate birthday weekend wants to do a zoom party on birthday weds

however I'm kindof funny about this and really don't want to used it

yes I have seen few videos youtube folks doing a zoom birthday due to isolation doesn't seem very interesting
