No problem, click here and try for 30 days. I have the 2 at a time Blu-ray plan and my average is about $2.00 per title.

The Via Vision link shows 96 minutes and it has the same model number as the Madman Entertainment which shows 95 minutes. The discrepancy probably has to do with how each vendor rounds their numbers, i.e. the seconds.

When I check my DVD sourced from my laserdisc the feature runtime is approx. 95 minutes 29 seconds, give or take 1 second, so the difference is likely in how each website rounds off those seconds.

What passed for an "R" rating in 1983 would likely just be PG-13, or even PG, today.

I have done a lot of research for you on this title, so you just go and buy it already.

My Walmart has all of the aesthetics of an old barn; they haven't upgraded any displays in ages.

You have 30 days to start watching a rental from the exact day and time you rent it. If you don't start watching a movie within 30 days, you must rent it again. Once you start watching, you can watch it for 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere). There is no limitation on the viewing times during the 24/48 hours.

I just accumulate redeemed codes as a alternative to playing media for someone on something external to one's home theater. Especially useful when traveling. It also can be thought of as a backup instead of ripping media. There hasn't been any instances where I thought it was really comparable to physical media, but its flexibility value makes it hard to ignore once you tried it.

The closest I've come to making use of a digital copy is passing a few on to my nephew in the hopes of turning him on to various things.

Which reminds me, if he can't get around to watching The Wire during a freaking quarantine then he's freaking hopeless

For the people that have more discs than I (I own around 350), how are you storing all of these? Like do you have an entire room in your house with library shelves? The reason I haven't been buying more discs is because of the storage space.

Awhile back I bought some Atlantic media Cabinets from Best Buy. Not the strongest but just don't try to move them around like a good set of older solid wood shelves. Have a corner of a room with these place one to each wall. I have other cabinets I store other media types around the residence. These hold up to 360 DVDs, 756 CDs or 414 Blu-ray Discs each.

I use this rack for my Blu-ray's/4K's and some of my DVD's. The rest of my DVD's are in a different rack in another room since I rarely use them.

I just made shelves for my Blu Rays. I followed an example from a YouTube video that I can find.

It's just 3 2x4's and 8 8 foot 1x2s for a total cost of $50 at Home Depot.

The other rack next to them is for UHD of which I have approx 200.

Everything is alphabetized.

I did have the Blu Rays in storage and used backed up files on Plex. I'm reducing my Plex use though so made the discs more accessible.

So what is your point guys, we have all collected Movies and TV Shows and should know how to organize all this on shelves or book cases. I did this Decades with Wall Units, Shelves, and File Cases. If you guys still want to do this it's your choice, but for some of us this this has run it's course. I still have bookshelves and File Cabinets, for BD and DVD's but they are all in the garage now. my Vudu and MA Collection is 700+, and only growing!

Not sure what your point is. I also have over 700 movies in Vudu. (746 in Movies Anywhere)

I tried to go "all in" with digital and didn't like when my movies disappeared or downgraded from UHD to HD for weeks. Streaming licenses are still useful for me to share my movies with my kids and friends. Now that I no longer buy them (only redeem codes from actual movie purchases) I don't even mind if they are flakey and un-reliable... I don't worry about that for free things. The fact that you don't OWN any of the streaming movies resulted in me no longer buying them.

When I host a movie night, I prefer to actually have the movie all ready to go rather than to have to ask to view someone else's copy. So, after sound quality, reliability is the main draw for me to continue to use physical media.

The fact that you tried to go all in with digital is sad to me. I remember you were a hardcore disc guy years back.

4K threw me for a little loop. I bought an ATV4K and started loving iTunes.

Didn't take long before my movies started to disappear and re-appear. This first happened with Marvel movies that bounced back and forth between Paramount and Disney. Then some of my James Bond movies downgraded to HD for about a month. Some of my movies left the iTunes Store but could still be found in my library. So, even iTunes which does it better than anyone else except maybe Movie Anywhere, was a bad experience.

I'm slow but I can learn. What I learned is I can't collect movies online.

When I spoke to Apple about my concerns they assured me that I didn't own any of my iTunes content. The Studios owned the content and I just had permission to view it which could be revoked at any time for any reason. Who ever doesn't realize this is even slower than I am.

I won't make that mistake again.

Thankfully I still have my movies and I'm back to collecting them on a format in which they can be collected.

It’s barmy isn’t it? You buy films digitally but might not be able to watch them when you feel like it. Rubbish format, glad it’s not gaining any traction.

When it comes to online movies, I do believe thinking people will realize it's not good when they have enough problems with it.

Target, Best Buy, and Walmart all had a movie service and all of them became a liability and were eliminated. All three STILL sell physical media.

I don't think the "buy" option will continue much longer with these services as the new hotness is Subscribe.

At least subscription is a little more honest in my opinion than selling online access that users think they own.

Disney is nice enough to give the choice. I don't subscribe to Disney+ and they still provide new releases to disc.

Netflix will introduce limited ads to their service, regardless of what they say otherwise.
