So what if I order the set and a couple or few of the discs are scratched?

Have to exchange the whole set for a new one and then risk other scratched discs?

I have a 10% off coupon but not sure I want to drop $180 as they are on Disney+. I am enjoying what I have watched there, but I’m not a huge fanatic.

I watched the last four episodes of Clone Wars S7 as a 'movie' and it's one of the best pieces of Star Wars content I've seen in many, many years.

Thanks sincerely to everyone on this forum that clued me in to the Best Buy "price match" thing. Spent five minutes on the phone and got $54 back, just like many of you. Sometimes these forums can really pay off -- literally!

You guys/gals rock.

I wonder if the first signs that is beginning to sell out are starting. My local store now is out of stock and I see a few other stores in the region also sold out now although some still have them for in store. I bet within a month it will be sold out in store and online unless they print up more (which for a huge title like this perhaps they would, hard to say, maybe not with the individuals out there).

Mando was excellent but that's more its own thing, playing in the SW sandbox but with a different sensibility, whereas the scale - both visually and emotionally - of the final arc of CW felt like 'true' Star Wars.

Season 7 started a bit slow for me but the last 3 episodes have been epic which more than made up for the lackluster start. This arc is better than any live action movie since the originals. I cannot wait to watch the last episode, i just wish it was an hour long finale

Yes! Two disc widescreen editions sealed. Used, probably a third of the price, but probably missing the insert, disc scratches, or another annoying thing. I buy used as a last resort, or to guarantee something like a slipcover that is no longer available on new copies.

It's literally a 90-minute finale, it's just been chopped up into four episodes. Works incredibly well if you watch them back to back.

Ya know what I’m not a huge fan & the proof is in the fact that actually like the newer SW films. Never seen the prequels & think the original trilogy is average. Yet I own all the films.

Maybe some people might find this interesting, a recollection of the transfer work by a Lowry/RMW employee:

Basically describes the typical Lowry process I think?
Where did you find this?

I bet after May the 4th they will go back up to $29.99. I don't think SW films typically go on sale often.

it was $24.99 for the past 2 weeks...they don't go on sale often but it's obvious sales are really disappointing so they are getting desperate

It's true. These 4K singles barely move at the stores that I frequent. They sell, but never enough to leave even a single slot empty from the 2-4 units for each title.

In terms of the 4K singles not selling, I bought them all on release day and put the slip covers in storage.

So, they may not be selling because I already have my copy.

HD Goofnut, that is a helluva collection! I love the CINEMA spelled out beneath them. What font is that, may I ask? It looks like, well, a font you'd see at an old cinema, lol!
