Does DiabolikDVD ever ship out Scream Factory titles early?

They have 3 sales that they do yearly:

Halloween (forgot what they call it) (october)
Love is in the scare (February)
Summer screams (July)

Other than those they sometimes do random sales.

Just wanted to share some USPS love in these times...my order from Shout didn’t ship for a solid two weeks after I placed my order...totally fine by the way, I get it...It then shipped May 4th (standard shipping) and arrived today. As those sharks from the street might say...that’s jawsome. A ronin order came even quicker while another label took forever and a day.

Have an email from April 25th that ends with the following in the opening paragraph: "Then check back because we have a new sale scheduled in May!"

What's the hold up on the Corman library? After a group of titles came out in 2018, it's been pretty quiet on the Corman front. His sons dismissed their lawsuit over the library sale, so what gives?

The SF version doesn’t have special features either. It’s also down to $10 on Shout’s site right now & at that price is definitely recommend it as a blind buy also.

December 2018. They filed to have it dismissed with prejudice.

They're a litigious bunch, his kids have been suing him for over a decade. It all stemmed from Corman depositing an inheritance of his in the late nineties into Pacific Trust, one of three trusts he created for his kids & the largest, thinking that he wouldn't have to pay gift taxes on it. His accountant told him it wasn't true, so he took it out with 2% interest to avoid tax problems, but it was supposed to have been done within three years & he waited a decade. His kids sued to have him removed as trustee because they claimed he breached his duty of loyalty and wanted the money back. After the first judge recused himself, probate court found Corman did nothing wrong, that his kids sued in bad faith, and ordered them to pay $3 mil in costs from their shares in Pacific Trust.

The kids appealed, Corman appealed their judgement, and they all finally settled back in February. The suit over the library had the kids claiming that Corman sold titles owned by Pacific Trust, which wasn't true. What Corman would do is remake titles he owned and the remakes were then copyrighted by Pacific; most of the stuff he made in the nineties, like Roger Corman Presents, is owned by Pacific, too. So the kids jumped the gun and sued, then asked to have it dismissed with prejudice, likely so they wouldn't be accused of bad faith again.

My order just shipped a couple days ago, a solid two weeks after I placed my order. As you said, I get it with everything going on. The only thing that didn't ship was Slither, which they said was on backorder.

Does the three month slipcover guarantee extend to Amazon purchases as well? I've been meaning to pick up My Bloody Valentine, which came out February 11th, so I'm really edging up to that three month window.

Just revisited Thir13en Ghosts last night. Forgot how fun this movie is. Appreciated it much more current day. Will definitely be pre-ordering the scream release.
