It took me about 5 tries to finally get an order going. Just keep trying.

For almost an hour, I've been trying order from this sale using my Paypal account, which is how I always pay for orders on the SF site. This time, however, it's not working. I keep getting this message:
PayPal Validation Failed
2073 : VALIDATION_ERROR

Is this happening to anyone else?

I had issues with this same thing last sale. I had to log into PP and change my payment method from one banking account to a different account.

It made no sense then, makes no sense now.

I guess I'm out of luck now, if I want to use Paypal on the SF site. I only have one banking account. This is so strange. I ordered from Kino's website just a few days ago, using Paypal, and had no problems. It seems to be an issue with the Scream site, rather than my Paypal account itself. I'll try just paying with my card. Hopefully, that will work.

Well, since my Paypal is suddenly not working with the SF site, I tried to pay just by entering my card information and got a message back that there was a "problem with my payment information." I know that I entered it correctly, so I checked my bank account, and there is no problem with my card. The SF website is seriously messed up. I guess they will get my order later, or maybe not at all, if the items that I want are sold out by then.

Same basic thing happened to me except it does show as order taken on my page, though now it says "Error" next to the two movies in the order. They were quick to put the charge on the CC, so I am hoping that it just goes through eventually. I put a message in to customer service but it looks like they are only there Mon-Fri~will have to wait a couple of days to hear their answer

Finally! I tried again, manually entering my card information one more time, and for some reason, this time, it worked! I still have no idea why my Paypal wouldn't work, and I really hope that won't be an issue with SF in the future, because I use PayPal to pay for almost everything that I order online.

I got almost all of the "OOP in 2020" titles that I wanted during the "Cabin Fever Relievers" sale, but as it turns out, I could have gotten many of them cheaper in this sale! Oh well, that's life. Here's what I ordered this time, using the SHOCKWAVES discount:

I had never really looked closely at some of these titles previously, and I'm glad that I did this time (although my wallet is not happy about it), because I love psychological horror and found-footage films! "The Squad," "Tank 432," and "Kaleidoscope" all look like great psychological horror/suspense, and until I did some research on "The Devil's Doorway," I had no idea at all that it's a found-footage film!

Add in the popcorn action of "Road House" and "The Exterminator 2," and I've got the perfect counterbalances to my "life's dream purchase" (and extremely heavy, both in terms of sheer weight and emotional/psychological/spiritual depth!) of the "Ingmar Bergman's Cinema" set that I just got in the mail a few days ago!

Jeff, Cliff. Shout Factory insider... if any of you are still bothering to check this thread please, PLEASE, do everything you can to release Wes Cravens Deadly Friend.

Having never seen the film before but having heard a lot about it I finally got around to checking it out tonight and holy crap was that one of the most fun viewing experiences I've had in a long time. That film is such a mishmash of conflicting ideas and tones that somehow gels together into one of the craziest roller coaster rides of a film I've seen.

This would be an instant day one pre-order for me if it were to be announced. Such a fun/sad/insane film that I look forward to watching again in the near future... preferably on a Shout Factory Blu Ray.

No doubt they'd release this title in a heartbeat if Warner were willing to play ball. We can only hope the second deal with Warner has yielded this title (I guess we'll find out over the next few months).

Anyone know how to cancel an order with Shout? I placed an order like 4 days ago for some going out of print titles and now some of those titles are half price. My order says order taken and hasn't processed or anything, but when I click for details, it doesn't give me an option to cancel. Anyone know how to do it?

You have send a message using their online form. I did it Friday morning but they haven't canceled it yet; says it would take up to 3 business days. I couldn't find a customer service number since I was hoping doing it over the phone would be quicker but it appears they don't support that.

The extra gore was reinstated into the film when WB released it on DVD (
