So I know this wasn't announced as a Dark Force release but seeing the announcement for Beyond Love and Evil reminded me of it... back before Bill started having all his medical issues he had announced Water Power as an upcoming title. Has their been any progress on that one, is it a potential Dark Force release? As far as I can tell Code Red isn't releasing much these days so I'm just curious what happened to that particular title.

what's the situation with fatal games? has that been entirely ruled out for uncontrollable reasons, or does it remain a viable title?

And Lialeh too, while we're at it. During the live stream with Joe Rubin from VS, Rubin told Bill that he'd get in trouble if he released Waterpower but didn't elaborate.

Maybe After Hours has the rights to it? They released Shaun Costello's Forced Entry and also sell a Waterpower t-shirt that has an After Hours copyright notice on it.

Watched CopKillers Blu Ray last night, just the main feature. The old Code Red DVD presentation has charm as it looks a little better than VHS, super grainy and washed out.

The new Blu Ray looks much much better and Dark Force should be lauded as it doesn't appear to have any DNR, it looks very natural.

This was my second time watching the film, I liked it even more the second time around.

The two lead characters are very believable, their dialog is simple, dumb even, befitting the type of people being portrayed .

I'm not a fan of Tarantino like scripted scumbags who are incredibly witty and always have the right thing to say at the right time.

CopKillers is great drive in trash fun.

Fatal Games is a highly sought after title for me.

I am a subscriber and just got my package with Primal Rage and Chinese Hercules. There was also a really nice magnet which is the image on the cover of Chinese Hercules in color with BOLO at the bottom. Thanks Dark Force!

Chinese Hercules

~25-35mbps MPEG4 AVC
DTS-MA 2.0

Definitely a drive in print, a lot of specs, lines and scratches. Pretty consistent print damage throughout the entire film, especially scratches all over including smack in the middle of the frame. However, it is HD with nice grain field considering. Decent color and contrast. Ridiculous English dub, as expected.

Bruce's Ninja Secret

~20-30mbps MPEG4 AVC
DTS-MA 2.0

Another drive in print. Less scratches than Chinese Hercules, but color and contrast definitely suffers with milky blacks and flat color. Grain not as well defined as Chinese Hercules.

DRIVE IN MODE
16 min of drive-in trailers and vintage advertisements between features. Definitely worth watching this one in drive-in mode to complete the atmosphere.

If you are buying for top tier video quality this is probably not the release for you. Both films are watchable though with no digital manipulations, just a lot of print damage. Worth buying for the content if you like this type of film.

Note, one of the best menu tunes I have heard!

BEAUTIFUL fine grain transfer with excellent color and contrast. Blows away the old Code Red DVD. Looks like a slam dunk for anyone remotely interested!

FORCED ENTRY is PD. AHC bought the print on ebay. Costello was hired to write liner notes.

Please consider bundling Blue Monkey and Primal Rage when they are available for non-club members. I'm not usually a Bundle buyer but that is one I'd snag in a heartbeat and would also throw in an additional title that I'm currently waiting on to order as I await the aforementioned two.
