A possible new PlayStation 5 exclusive has -- allegedly -- leaked ahead of reveal. More specifically, according to a new report, there's a new Crash Bandicoot game that has been in development for three years already. Further, the game is scheduled to be revealed soon, and will be marketed alongside the PS5, which is currently slated to release sometime later this year. The claim comes way of Portuguese journalist and writer, Guru, who shared the news via their personal Twitter account.

Crash Bandicoot IP is owned by Activision no?
So if it was exclusive my guess is its only timed at that. I'd prefer Sony revive Jak & Daxter. Cerny even showed off the design from it in his GDC presentation. Perhaps a hint of sorts. |

Wouldn't mind a revival of 'Twisted Metal' while we're at it...
![]() Heck-- even a straight up remake of 'Twisted Metal 2: World Tour' would be awesome ![]() None of that lame Uber-dark goth crap that was over done in 'Black' for PS2. It's fine for a level or two, but man did I miss blowing up the Eiffel Tower in daylight ![]() It'd be awesome with today's graphics. |

You never see games like Twisted Metal, Crazy Taxi, Crash Bandicoot, SSX, etc. anymore ![]() PS and X-Box (w/ a few rare exceptions) have essentially become FPS machines-- which is a damn shame. |

It used to be a dirty word but now even big titles like Warzone went F2P with cosmetics and so on. Twisted Metal online could do the same. Massive open worlds and "Battle Pass" features and also selling cosmetics in a store would work if done right. Regarding platforms, i do agree FPS games have become highly dominant since like PS3s gen but thankfully more and more are coming back thanks to PlayStation and RPGs and so on made a comeback too. Hopefully we keep getting more. I was a little disappointed Cyberpunk 2077 wasn't 3rd person but i trust the devs to make an amazing game. |

As soon as I saw Twisted Metal during it's PS3 unveiling I knew it was going to be a dud. Even for that time period, it didn't look all that impressive. I guess they didn't have much of a budget for it.
