Shutter Island

Synopsis
The movie stars Mark Ruffalo and Leonardo DiCaprio as a pair of U.S. Marshalls in 1954 who are assigned to investigate the disappearance of a murderous patient from an insane asylum.

The rest of the acclaimed cast includes Ben Kingsley, Michelle Williams, Patricia Clark, Emily Mortimer, and Jackie Earle Haley. The teaser poster (excerpt below) takes a simplistic, yet creepy approach, with a straightjacketed, unknown figure standing facing the wall, with “Whatever Happened to Patient 67?” written on the wall, presumably in blood.

Have to say this doesn't sound or look anything at all like a typical Scorsese movie, which intrigues me even more!

Hugh fan of Scorsese, and i like all the movies i seen of his so far, and this one (Using Sussudio's quote) "looks awsome"!

I remember reading an article awhile back that Scorcese was doing this next, but I never heard about the casting...DiCaprio, Kingsley and Haley!?!?! Hell yeah! Please let Suspect Zero or Rorschach be the insane one!

I heard he couldn't do this due to previous commitments of bashing someone to death with a bowling pin.............

Just saw this movie is based on a book by Dennis Lehane, the same author of Mystic River!!! That alone makes this movie already instantly better BUT than I read of even more great casting!
