Plus, in order for those pictures and videos of people congregating in large groups to exist...the person taking the pic/video has to be present in that large group too.

I see kids skating without masks every day I need to get out (which is usually twice a week). They think they're above it all.

What stupefies me the most are the middle-aged men walking around without masks (and it's almost always men, not women. Go figure).

B-b-b-but they should be allowed to enjoy their life. You can’t expect people to stay home forever...

That's just stupid logic.

You can take a picture walking by to do errands. You don't have to be a part of it.

Wow, I don’t understand why you always have to be rude and arrogant. It seems like 90% of your posts are just personal attacks at people. But hey, maybe I’m the only one who feels that way and most people here think you’re a cool guy.

And 90% of your posts are you claiming the victim and looking for pity. Calling something "stupid logic" isn't a personal attack. If it is, people here have said far worse about my posts. However, what *YOU* just said was a personal attack.

That's interesting, considering I was the only one that offered you emotional support when you were having a complete mental break about a month ago.

Yes, the vast majority who catch COVID 19 will not become severely ill. The problem is that this virus is far more easily passed on than even the common cold. That means that a lot of people are and will be getting it, so the relatively the small percentage of people who will die or get severely ill will still be a huge number of people. And the main thing is to make sure the health system does not get overwhelmed with severe cases, so these people stand a chance.
Guys, i think we can all agree, THOSE are obvious signs a person has had very severely been impacted and likely to return long term damage as a result but that's not what i was referring to. I'm talking about the claims where it isn't so obvious as that but we're being told about long term health implications. That's what we cannot determine until a long term study is done and concluded.

I've said this before, that i believe saving lives is the #1 goal, however i also believe the response to this event has been not the best in many areas and we'll assess that probably down the line however the economic damage and fallout from this isn't something we can even begin to predict and i feel like measures need to be put in place and the economy reopened. Here in the UK, the tentative date is 15th June for all non-essential retailers to open with procedures in place.

I strongly believe that the individuals who would do stupid things have and continued to do them during lockdowns, but putting things in place and letting more "Normality" have remained after putting in physical distancing and so on would have reduced the economic fallout somewhat.

However, it is what it is and we need to figure out a way to accept that some people inevitably will die as a result of COVID-19 despite our best efforts. That's just life. We can die. You can't 100% protect against it. You can just do your best to manage it but i'm sure most people will hopefully adjust themselves but i guess sometimes, we just have to accept they also don't. Hence the inevitable.

CNN - Want to eat or shop at Disney? Say you won't sue

So you have to sign a liability waiver for coronavirus before entering a Disney park.

I don't really GAF about Disneyland, but can't we have these things for Souplantation or any buffet? People know the risks about going to a buffet beforehand. Just an ipad with a scribble, scribble, sign on the dotted line and all should be fine.

I want to go back to Souplantation. This is bull****.

I wouldn't be surprised if those types of waivers are the norm. They're even throwing it around in my industry as well - if you take a job, you have to sign a waiver saying that you'll never sue them if you get sick.

I had a random thought yesterday ... what's the situation with elevators? You can't social distance in them (one person in each corner facing the wall?), are they one person only? and if people can't use them, how do flocks of people go to work by the stairs which have little air-flow and are space restricted.

I am amused by walkers who apparently are annoyed by people running without masks. If it bothers walkers that much they should just stay home away from other people and walk around their yard or house.

Not at all! I just think it's ridiculous to assume that if someone is taking a picture of something that they're partaking in it.

That's like saying I'm doing drugs if I'm taking a picture of people doing it.

I think that's England, Wales is still on lockdown, but the PM keeps mentioning the United Kingdom as a whole, when Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales have their own ideas.

Also I loved the press screaming at that idiot aide the other day for breaking lockdown rules, inches from his face, frothing at the mouth. Have they been tested for some magical gene? because they don't give a single shit about social distancing.

It keeps people informed about what's going on in certain areas at a specific time, & that information can be used to alert authorities & the public about potential areas of increased concern. The more reliable information provided, the better sound decisions can be made by public health authorities, law enforcement & the general public, such as avoiding those areas if that kind of behavior persists. Anyone not concerned about behavior like this, well then I guess you're free to keep on not being concerned about it.

Maybe so, maybe not. I've seen footage filmed from what appears to be a safe distance. I don't think people should put themselves in close proximity to obtain that type of footage, but it's clear to see that some are doing just that. Regardless of how footage is filmed, if it's out there for all to see, it's still informative & we're free to view it. Btw, the Daytona footage was provided by a helicopter crew from the Sheriff's Department. I'd call that a safe distance.
