So I made the mistake of buying the 3 disc set in the UK, and let this be £13 lesson in researching a movie before buying, 1080i 25fps and lossy audio.

As the US one is OOP I guess the German release is the way to go?

That sucks. Amazon has this 4-film one in stock, though it's been cheaper in the past:

Thanks for this had a long hard thing, realised only a crazy person would order this, slept on on it then ordered it this morning with a copy of Adventures in Babysitting. The postage is bit steep but 4 movies for £14 + p&p was pretty good value.

Probably good that you waited a day. I clicked that link yesterday and I'm almost certain it wasn't discounted like it is now. But maybe I'm wrong.

edit: yeah camelcamelcamel.com seems to confirm. supercool!

I just rewatched the first movie a few days ago and it really does hold up beyond simple nostalgia, and feels like 90% a perfectly done TMNT movie to me.

Thanks for the confirmation, cause I too thought it was in the $20 something range, so that is what much hard 5 clinched it.
