Well, I can confirm that it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find a good copy under €100

The Clone Wars Steel was also going constatntly over €100 until that NL Site posted earlier got hold of 150 Copies. That's what drove the Price back down. Their Supply has also since been depleted, so I'm sure the price will go back up again. It's a stiff competition for second place (behind Rambo) between German IAL, Clone Wars and the Pinocchio Wood Box for "Most jacked up Price) out there!

check out the 3rd party sellers on Amazon.de, they have some for 50 euros, not bad considering it will climb

Hee Hee it's a pain in the ass! Believe me you dont want to use the technique that I used, but it worked. If I told you how, the steelbook collectors on this forum would have a heart attack-LOL

C'mon lets hear it, i left the sticker on my Hancock SB it wasnt to bad and i didnt want to make a mess of it but this one really ruins the cover, i want it off

You probably should not do this, but I peeled off what I could and removed the sticky residue with

Nail polish remover

followed by warm water on a cloth. I was so afraid that the nail polish remover would damage the steel but it didn't.

I had luck removing it by simply warming with a Hair Dryer and then used (don't laugh) Lemon Juice to remove the leftover glue residue.

I acquired one reciently for a good price ,havent decided if I'm going to open and watch it yet. do you think the sticker will be harder to take off the longer I wait?

Just open it and enjoy it, and it might be harder to take the sticker off later, just use a hair dryer like AB said and you'll be ok!

it was only for what was leftover. For the most part most of the sticker came off in one piece. I tried Alcohol with cotton balls and it didn't seem to work, so I used a little bit of nail polish and it worked almost instantly. Quick wipe with some dry cotton balls and it was all gone

Alcohol usually works on the amaray cases, but it didn't seem to work on the steelbook as well as it does on the plastic
