Sorry to disagree but Angelina Jolie is suffering the same way as a lot of other women from Hollywood, skinny. Go check her back in Gia or Laura Croft and compare her to now in Wanted and you will see what I mean.

Well, we can agree to disagree on this matter (and I usually agree w/ your posts ). She just had 2 healthy twins, AJ is not "suffering" - there are number of women in Hollywood who've truly suffered from Anorexia. She has long arms and legs, like I said lanky, so I think it makes her look more thin.

And I've seen those movies you mentioned, yes she's thinner now, but she was younger, more baby fat back then, but certainly not a huge difference. Some women gain weight with children and some women lose more weight, she's definitely more active w/ a brood of children now.

Back to the topic at hand - someone mentioned Megan Fox, Keri Russell - not sure about Keri, but I think Megan could pull it off.

How bout Charisma Carpenter? I wasn't keen on her for a Bond girl, but does she not have the look and shape? Probably not a commanding enoough voice.

Or maybe Rebecca Romijn?

I agree. No Jolie... That would not work at all.. I am also getting tired of seeing her in movies too. I do not dislike her, but there are many others out there who are good actresses who could play the part.

Def. has the looks, but hasn't she kind of been out of the public eye for a while? Plus, she'll be 39 (??!!) in July. Just checked and was def. surprised to find out she was born in 1970.

I'd think a possible Studio Franchise Movie like this would want a Known name who's "HOT" right now: Megan Fox, who you could argue to be a current "It Girl" of the moment, with TRANSFORMERS 2 out soon - would make perfect sense to ME if they signed her up.

I hear and agree with you on the marketing aspect of it; I guess I just imagine the character being a little more mature than Megan Fox. Was aiming for older... Romjin is 37, Lawless is I believe over 40. Then again, maybe it's because i'm relating to Linda Carter from the eyes of a boy! From a comic viewpoint, how old should she be portrayed as?

Good points -- I could def. see Rebecca Romjin in the role (wonder if they'd make her die her hair darker?), since we're all familiar with her action stuff from X-Men. Better actress also.
