How hard is it to just adapt the novels?! They have six fantastic books to work off of that do tell one whole story over the course of them.

I've only gotten as far as Spider's Web and I'd say one fantastic book, two good to very good books and one okay book.

Spider's Web was a decent enough read but it was almost a comic book-y version of a Bond (which can be comic book-y enough to begin with). The movie was actually better than I expected and a movie franchise turning Lisbeth into more a Bond-like action hero could have been (and still could be) okay if done right but I'm intrigued by at least the possibility that this series could be more character driven.
