Oh, and hopefully we get Extreme Prejudice, Cemetery Man, Graveyard of Honor, Yakuza Graveyard, Hunter in the Dark, Prince of the City, the Dead Zone, Friday the 13th set, and a few others. Thanks for reminding me. I think I might be slipping in mentioning those titles.
I mean no harm, it's just funny that you would criticize someone else's post in terms of it happening often in the forum. Sorry to "harass" and "stalk" you. The point was I dont have to go very far to see the same posts over and over either. Now that I know I'm a stalker I can correct my behavior, maybe you can as well

My criticism is for situations where answers can be found be simply using the search function or looking at the topics on the board. Your criticism of me is my wishful thinking attitude. Different things I suppose. It makes me feel good to be vocal and wishful for titles. I don't think it's harmful. Annoying? It can be for others like yourself, but I have limited it. At this point, as I said I have limited it, but don't expect to disappear, as I enjoy bringing up titles that I want to see happen. For the most part, I get positive reactions to it, and while sometimes, I don't, it's more infrequent. People like to be reminded of titles they like and are hopeful for.

I'm more of a Freddy fan rather than a Jason fan myself.

I saw "NOES" in the theater in '84, and it was one of the formative movie, generally speaking, and horror movie, specifically speaking, experiences of my life! I will never forget that!

I was too young to see the first few F13 movies in the theater, but I did see the fourth one when it was originally released, and I was so excited to be there!

Honestly though, both series seriously fluctuated in quality, with so many sequels, and an increasingly comedic tone that I really did not like. I'm definitely a serious fan of the first F13 and NOES (I do consider the original NOES to be a true horror classic), but the longer that both series went on, the harder it became for me to really enjoy them as horror films.

I had to start looking at the later F13 and NOES films more as horror-comedies, than as horror films, in order for me to even be able to watch them at all. (I like full-on, serious horror much more than horror-comedies in general.) I do think that "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" was great though-- almost, but not quite, as good as the original!

So we probably won't hear about any titles today, as it's Black Out Tuesday. Hopefully tomorrow.

Considering Scream haven't updated their Facebook page in 11 days it's hardly a break from the norm...

Worth noting that the Shout Factory twitter account has been pretty active today, tweeting about new releases and such. I don't know if Scream will follow suit, but it doesn't seem to be a company-wide policy at least.

Yeah, it doesn't look like Shout hasn't gone Black Out Tuesday on their Twitter. It would be nice to get the announcements earlier in the week than later, but who knows. With the world falling apart more and more each day, the more good news the better.

Lots of good advice in this thread. I'm gonna grab a drink, something tasty and just relax until we get a Shout Select edition of Vibrations. It could be awhile.

Might as well join in for the party. With the weather going to hit close to 100 degrees in the next 2-3 days, I'm going to grab a drink, maybe do a little bit of BBQ, and lay back and hope for a Shout Select Release of Suburban Commando.

Now we're talking! And drinking. Good advices. So glad I already have No Holds Barred on blu-ray. Little things like that will get us through this crisis. Now I'm gonna grab a drink, relax and wait for a Collectors Edition of Terror on Tour.

It looks Shout/Scream are getting back into the groove of shipping pre-orders out early as I got a shipping notice for Universal Horror, Volume 5 today.

My last few (including Danger Diabolik) shipped the day or the Friday before street.

I just placed an order with them directly for the first time ever. I'm not gunna lie, I am a little scared but I got desperate because I ordered through Diabolik and saw that there were a few titles that were going OOP that they didn't have in stock (Otherwise I would have gladly ordered through Diabolik instead). How bad are they about shipping? Has anyone gotten their orders?

If your items are in stock right now then you'll have your order in about a week or so. If you ordered anything that is currently on backorder you should have it in time for Halloween.

That's good to know. I preordered the same title a few days ago. It's due out on June 16. Would love to get it before then.

Toxic-shock, I'm going to be honest with you, because everyone deserves to hear the truth. Even apart from the current pandemic situation, SF has often been slow in processing and shipping out my orders over the years-- partially, because their various releases ship from multiple locations across the country, and also because, in my experience, many of their older releases are often heavily back-ordered, even though the website almost always shows them as being "in stock" for customers to order. (More on this in a moment.)

It has taken me over a month to finally get most of the Blu-rays that I ordered in an admittedly quite large order (my "stimulus check" celebration!) of twenty-one titles, I think, placed back on 4/28. I'm still waiting on six of them though, but I did get a tracking number for one of them today. One down, five to go! (I'm also still waiting for all six titles in another order placed on 5/8.)

I've written about this repeatedly here, but why not once more, since it continues to be a real problem with SF: I am both mystified, and annoyed, by the fact that Shout/Scream Factory continue to refuse to list currently back-ordered titles as back-ordered titles on their website. I have respectfully, politely, asked their customer service agents, for years now, to pass along the request to please add this feature to their website, as a courtesy to their customers. The answer I always get is that it's a good idea, and hopefully, next year, it can be done. It has never happened. The only times that I order directly from the SF website, now, are when they have good sales, and when I simply cannot buy one of their discs elsewhere without paying an exorbitant amount.

Same here. Otherwise, I'm done with Shout. The wait time is ridiculous.
