Remember when Scream denied Candyman before almost immediately announcing Candyman? Not saying that’s what Diabolik is doing with a Friday set, but remember?

I’m getting so much deja vu with the last couple of posts. I honestly feel like we’ve been here and said these things before.

It's not F13, guys. DiabolikDVD normally just ignores those who guess correctly. I've never seen them deny, and then the announcement is the title they denied.

I think Arrow might pull the strings to produce a full F13 boxset before Scream Factory. It'd be really nice to own either way.

Given Scream have much stronger relations with Paramount and Warner Bros than Arrow, I have to think they're in a far stronger position to pull this off.

I wish Scream Factory would go back to actually announcing their IFC titles. Apparently the 2019 film "Swallow" is planned for an August release. I just saw the title now on diaboliks website.

True History of Kelly Gang isn't a Scream Factory title. I saw that one yesterday. I did find another I apparently missed though from April...

Both titles have been added to post #2.

Sadly I think you may be right. Looking at their release slate now compared to the last several months and it looks pretty complete at this point. All the delays and re-scheduled release dates which pushed into September have left what is normally my favorite month of the year for film announcements looking pretty mediocre. Disappointing but understandable. If by not announcing anything else insures that they can hit their release schedule marks in October and moving forward than it's a price worth paying I suppose. Only thing missing from September by my estimation is an IFC title at this point.

I agree. While I do appreciate what they've announced and I do plan on picking up the Event Horizon Collector's Edition, I already have Blu-rays of it and the original Vincent Price Volume 1 Collection. So I'm not in a rush to put in a pre-order for anything this month.

I think the biggest surprise for me is that there were no Hammer releases in September. I thought for sure that Brides of Dracula would have been announced for September, and with the rumor that The Curse of Frankenstein is coming from Scream Factory, I could have seen them planning that one for October. Maybe Brides of Dracula is an October announcement and The Curse of Frankenstein is a Comic-Con announcement for November/December.

Yeah Event Horizon is without a doubt a title I will pick up eventually, but I've already got so many titles in pre-order status through August that I think I'm going to wait on this one until I see if that release date sticks and to see what else the package will include.

I never did pick up the first VP set and so that's another release that I'll be keeping an eye on but it's still not a priority at this time for me. I may wait for a slower month of releases later this year or in 2021 and grab it then.

I'm excited about the first Vincent Price set being released because I have custom covers for each individual Vincent Price film and some of the movies in the Vincent Price Sets have 2 films on one disc so now I can have a disc for every cover (I already had 2 sets of II and III but one set of I)

Just because they say in stock on the website doesn’t mean they are. They never list when something is on back order, they all just say in stock. So if they haven’t shipped yet chances are they’re all back ordered.

Yeah there are folks still waiting on orders from April and May so if you just ordered 2 weeks ago you are likely still in for a bit of a wait.
