I'm thinking of putting an order in with Twilight Time. Have they finally kind of caught up with their orders at this point.

It pays to still go to TT, sometimes titles pop back up.

Looks like Bridge at Remagen has sold out at SAE.

And if I were in the market for a fulfillment house, OSW would be the last place I'd go.

I don't think it's OSW's fault, either from what I have been reading.

The problem seems to be is that Twilight Time was hit with anywhere between 3,000-7,000 orders on its very first day of the sale.

Then the warehouse was hit with Covid 19 restrictions set by the state of Texas that not only prevented them from hiring help but mandated social distancing which slowed down processing of orders.

I am still waiting on my order from the 10th of May. However, they have been sending newsletter updates every week and they are telling me that my order will probably go out within the next week.

Does anyone know why The River's Edge is missing the 20th Century Fox logo at the beginning of the movie? I can imagine it may have been an independent production but was still released by them so why is it missing? It's one of my favorite moments, no other logo can beat this in my view, especially the Cinemascope ones.

It was produced by Benedict Bogeaus Production, which also had its films distributed by various other studios in the 1950s. Its entirely possible at one time Fox did not have distribution and it was removed...or did not have it at all. Haji Baba was an Allied Artists production that did not have the traditional Fox logo, even though it was distributed by Fox theatrically.

Happy to report that my May 10th TT Fedex order of 14 titles arrived in Ontario today and I did not have to pay any duty. Best of luck to you!

The Fox logo doesn't appear on the poster either (on some foreign posters there is no credited distributor at all). Fox didn't always put their logo on pictures they financed: they commissioned several Scope B movies like Plunder Road, Kronos and Showdown at Boot Hill which were released without the Fox logo and, because they decreed the name was only for A movies, without the CinemaScope brand and billed as formats like RegalScope despite being shot with Scope lenses.

Didn’t see a dedicated thread linked from the title, does anyone know further information than what’s on Wikipedia for the ending change to Chilly Scenes of Winter? Looks like the original ending isn’t included on the TT release, has it ever been available on home video? This one is among my orders and I’ll probably watch it this weekend, so I’m curious. Spoiler tags of course please if getting into the plot details!

That’s nice that you ran a warehouse... I’ve been involved in warehouse operations as well, but I don’t think there’s any need to disparage their operation without having all of the facts about their volumes, etc, Mr. xSpankyxDuckx.
I agree with this completely.

The warehouse was just hit with unexpected circumstances. A month's worth of orders in one day and then restrictions that prevented them from hiring extra help.

I think they are doing the best they can to dig out from under the mess. I have no problem waiting for my order. I just am amazed at how impatient some people have been. They aren't delivering medicine to anyone. These are Blu-rays that most people will throw into a pile and watch at a future date. Is it really the end-of-the-world that most initial orders will have to wait 4+ weeks for delivery? Is it that damn important you get the Blu-rays that you purchased in a closing sale in a record amount of time?

Really liked The Bullet Train, but damn this $hit had no business being 2.5 hours.

A non-dubbed copy of the 115-minute U.S. cut would be of great interest to me (and even that's too long.)

At that length it does feel more Speed Limit than Speed.

I enjoyed Kirgo's analogy to an ocean liner when touching on the movie's bloat.

Cutter's Way has now jumped to just 2 copies left at SAE, in case anyone was observing its previously-slow decline and thinking they'd wait for it.
