And for people with the creating itch, Media Molecule/Sony probably wants them picking up Dreams instead (I know this is made by Sumo, not MM, who also developed LBP3, but in the end all are Sony properties).
I guess time will tell, but my bet is we will be able to create

I'm just glad Sackboy is back in an all new, full game! I love the LBP series since the original game on PS3. Even the Vita game is a lot of fun, although I never finished the Kart game. Here's hoping even Tearaway gets a sequel in the future.

The video clearly showed Sackboy collecting creation assets. I seriously doubt they would go to the trouble of putting those in the game as collectibles if we couldn't use them. I think this is essentially Little Big Planet re-branded with the intention to put Sackboy front and center as more of a mascot for PlayStation.

Good eye! I went back and watched it again and paused it a few times and those are definitely creation prizes.

Looks interesting. Wonder if it'll allow customization of the game.

I played the isometric angle viewed levels in Dreams from Media Molecule, and there are some alignment issues with that latest game from their team, so you'll be ready to jump to a platform, and totally misinterpret where it is in the jump space, falling instead. I could say it was just me that needs more practice, but others have complained of the same issue.

I hope this new game irons that issue out.

I'm just glad its 60fps. I also hope Sumo Digital has gotten rid of the floaty mechanics for more precise controls.

As for customization, if you're talking about for your character, well that was obvious in the co op footage. All 4 characters were totally different. If you mean level customization, like i said above, creation assets are in the game and you see Sackboy collecting them in the trailer.

I need the creating thermometer to be insane and once again. I would love to be able to buy everything from the past if its going to carry over. I lost it all and since no one is playing the first games anymore. Its impossible for me to get the items that required 4 players.

Looks like this wasn't the case sadly.

They said in the video they're focused on the PLAY aspect, so to me that sounds like no creating and sharing your own levels. Unfortunate, but the game still looks like a lot of fun to me.
