An older game like AOE even the relaunched version should be no problem for that laptop on max settings imo. Probably wouldn't have much trouble running anything on high settings, ultra and max are more reserved for very high dollar rigs and truthfully over 60fps is barley even noticeable. Only thing the gtx1650 is missing is ray tracing, but i wouldn't call that a deal breaker.

So will ray tracing effect any games being played?

No it is just newer fancy tech for game programmers to utilize for lighting effects in games, games will still work without it, they just wont look as pretty. Not all games use it either, mainly newer triple A game titles so i wouldn't worry to much about it.

To me it looks like you got a nicely equipped laptop. Maybe eventually bump the memory up in it but other then that you should be good for a few years with it imo.
