Even before the whole Cancel Culture thing started, I found Mickey Rooney's ghastly performance in Breakfast At Tiffany's to be akin to seeing a cockroach skittering across the surface of an immaculate wedding cake.

Even putting the "yellowface" issue aside, it's a terrible, obnoxious character who drags the movie to a halt every time he appears. Even if he were played by an actual Japanese actor, it would have been terrible as written and performed. Shame, as the rest of the film is sophisticated and charming.

This wins. Yes. There's never going to be a better example.

The Matrix, Neo vs Morpheus in the dojo. Two characters supposedly highly skilled in martial artist actually sparring like a pair of beginners.

The Irishman, de-aged DeNiro beating up a guy with all the agility of an old man in his 70s.

Yep, absolutely terrible, De Niro playing a character who was supposed to be around forty or so gimping around like the nearly eighty-year-old man he actually was.
