Is there ant reason why Scream Factory titles that aren't going oop this year are still skyrocketing in price? Sgt.Pepper used over 40 bucks. The living dead 2 30 bucks. Island almost 40 bucks. All these on Amazon. Also are the Vestron line going oop? I see these prices are creeping up as well, but not their region 2 counterparts. Thanks for any info.

Probably just a stock issue with most of those.

Is Scream Factory's THE BATTERY OOP or just between pressings? It's one of their oldest releases and though it's in stock on Shout!'s site, it's one of the rare USA-only titles, so they can't ship it to Canada (sigh). Most online stores are OOS and third-party prices on Amazon are crazy!

I am waiting on my Sgt Pepper order directly from Scream. Hope they can scrounge up a copy for me.

I want one as well, but not at Amazon prices. I'll just hope it's virus/between pressings related since it's not one going oop this year (so they say).

Seems that "Benny & Joon" (1993) starring Johny Depp is out of print. Not available anywhere save a few listings on Ebay. Grab those up while you can!

All of these recent titles going of print is further reminding me how important it can be to have an organized collection. I'm one of those people who 'ran out of shelf space' long ago and everything's kind of in a state of disarray to the point where I'm not sure if I already own some of these titles or not. At the very least, maintaining a list like the one offered on the site is probably a great idea.

I feel your pain. This used to happen to me all the time years ago when I was more into collecting retro games (before that scene exploded) so I finally pushed myself to create excel spreadsheets for all the things I actively collect so I can quickly reference it on my PC before I make a purchase.

The U.S. edition appears to be, but Amazon US has a link to buy the Australian release from third party. It's going for about $20.

Yes I was referring to the US one, thanks. It's on eBay as well so I'll grab it before it disappears.

DrVenkman99 good luck with that, hope that you enjoy. Do check the region, Australia is region B.

Seriously, recently I read in the news that the cat behind street cat named Bob had been run over, very sad. Big article told you about the movie too. I'm UK based, Amazon-UK can't supply me a UK copy but they can sell me a a German copy with English audio from a UK warehouse for loose change.

User confirmed that it is Region Free. Probably the same disc as the U.S. since it's a double feature.

maybe briefly.. but far from "everything" in the long run. I'm quite positive Disney or boutique label(s) will re-release most all of the big titles at the very least.

At the moment, I think it's mostly COVID delays with production and distribution coupled with everybody's panic scramble to pick up everything they want before a possible OOP scenario happens. I'm sure some titles will go OOP but the big stuff will get re-released with Disney's artwork scheme. I don't see much if anything being licensed out though, that's not Disney's style. Gravity Falls was the exception that proves the rule, unless it's a movie where they just distribute it but didn't produce it.

Looks like it although there's still a few copies floating around eBay.
