Not sure why it's being sold so low. But it's been at Walmart for $10 over a week ago. Walmart also has Starman EFNY Firestarter and other Scream & Shout titles for 12.96.

Scream should do a collector’s edition of Wes Craven’s Red Eye. It needs a Blu-ray release.

Presumably we're all hoping the Scream line continues for several years yet, so a year of fewer releases isn't necessarily a bad thing. They have various arrangements in place which could see them last a while yet:
- Hammer (not many more left here admittedly) - Arkoff AIP (only a handful of horror titles left here) - Gordon Films Catalogue (we've seen titles added to the streaming service, and the physical release of Inseminoid suggests it's not just digital rights) - Universal (basically down to TV movies, some 00s films and double-dips) - MGM (still possibilities here given the depth of MGM's catalogue, but with Scorpion, Vinegar Syndrome and Severin getting in on the action the candidate pool is diminishing) - Sony (still quite a few possibilities here, both new-to-Blu titles and double-dips) - Warner (plenty here, providing WB are willing) - Paramount (still quite a few candidates here, and Scream seem to have the pick of the catalogue as things stand) - Corman (not sure what's going on here, but there remain plenty of possibilities here if they can get the issues ironed out) It might be that they also have physical media rights to Tempean Films and Rainbow Films Holdings tiltes (previously released on DVD by Dark Sky), since we've seen these added to streaming services also. |

Because there's a new Candyman movie coming out to tie into? That's also why Scream's Mad Max disc was dirt-cheap from day one, because Fury Road was just around the corner when it dropped.

Yeah, I would figure they would at some point. That's a Dreamworks film, which I believe means it's now with Paramount? If that's the case I hope they release this, Perfume: Story of a Murderer , and Match Point.

I would also say it's only a matter of time before you start seeing UHD announcements from past titles that have proven to be popular sellers.
I guess it all matters on how well that Deer Hunter UHD did? |

These aren't exactly near the top of my (or anyone's) wish list, but I'd like to see a Pumpkinhead Ashes to Ashes and Blood feud double feature release. They could also release the later Lake Placid Sequels which have never had Blu Ray releases (officially). All of the above mentioned films are a part of Sony's catalog I believe and should be fair game.
I've been digging deeper into sequel territory these days and these are just a few that have come to mind that would make for decent future releases as the normal wells dry up. |
