his version of 'Phantom of the Opera' was decent, not great, but I liked it.

I loved it, of his films that I have seen this and Lost Boys are my favorites.
It was my introduction to Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson and have been a fan since.. I knew who Gerard Butler was from Tomb Raider and Dracula 2000 but this was where I became a fan as well.

RIP Joel Schumacher.
