I think it played in 4K/DV for a couple days because the original release date for the disc was June 2nd. Now that its been pushed back, I can see it reverting back to 4K/DV when the disc actually gets released in Sept.

I would hope they have Castillian subtitles instead. Whenever I watch (to me) a foreign language film I want to hear the original actors' voices to experience their performances.

So people bought this from itunes for 7.99 when it said 4k but then after getting your money they switched It too hd. Thats shaddy as **** id call apple and ask for a refund immediately. By asking for a refund and stating why we let them know they cannot do this kind of shit and maybe it will stop in the future. It will go on sale again when the 4k comes back for good just wait until then to rebuy

Not always, the problem with disk is space eventually they take over your whole house, then then problem is finding the disk you want to watch. I prefer the ownership of physical media and video quality is obviously better on disk esp 4k (hd not so much of a difference), my 1000 or so blu rays are in storage most didnt have digital copy so i have been slowlying buying the movies i want on digital but only when they are on sale for 4.99. There were a few 4k versions not available in the states i bought for 4.99 as well or ones i didnt feel the need to own the disk cause i didnt know if i would like the movie such as parasite.. Obviously video quality is best with the disks but sometime there are advantages of digital such as space saving, easy of use and access, play on demand from anywhere with a simple login. In any case what apple did there isnt really legal and people could and should ask for a refund

The problem is Apple released The Goonies with the original June 2nd release date in mind for the UHD. Then they realized the UHD got pushed back to September and it's like oops my bad. The digital must be downgraded back to HD. The same crap happened with The Wizard Of Oz.

For the people who bought the Goonies in 4k on iTunes for $6.99 have to remember... if you are connected to MA, then it went into your MA account as 4k. Once 4k comes back, you will have 4k in all places that has 4k. No need to get a refund because once it goes 4k when disc is out, the price will be higher.

I despise the artwork for all the 4k editions of this release. Don't like the steelbook, and the box/Best Buy standard editions have cut-and-paste photoshop art. What is wrong with the original poster art? Why do the studios hate us?
