...but Paramount works with Shout Factory, so the hope is that many titles are licensed to them.

It's a bargain bin title. Poke around the local Best Buy, Walmart, Target, gas stations/convenience stores, and grocery store bins to find a copy.

No doubt. I was just trying to confirm whether it's out of print or not.

It was reprinted last year, with a new SKU, so it's not OOP. You're just more likely to find the old release from several years ago in the bargain bin.

Yeah hopefully it's just in between pressings. The latest release was from 2019.

Well there's this as well:

Granted it's still in a bundle but it is New and the film in it are better than the other pack.

Fox used to be one of the best...
But surely they'll rerelease two of their biggest films in Scream and The Crow, right? Right?

I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't, especially considering there's a new SCREAM film about to go ahead. And I certainly have more faith in some of these major Miramax titles getting re-released on disc (no matter through which licensed distributor, Paramount, Shout, etc.) than I do in Disney re-releasing older FOX catalogue titles...

But, you know...we're living in a strange, new world... certain companies may or may not see the benefit.

I don’t see how studios which keep things consistently pressed, available, and in print would relate to a question about discs which are between pressings, but feel free to actually address Bolty’s question directly if you think I missed something.

They did that on DVD. I have no idea why they didn't do it on Blu-Ray at the same time. For some reason, the Blu-Ray releases of the series - not including whereupon they are in the bargain bin for a few bucks - are still pretty expensive compared to their DVD counterparts.

I did answer Bolty's question:

Don't think Cohen's a good example of how studios and most boutique labels work. When you said "this thread works," I interpreted that to mean all the posts guessing that studio titles are OOP. It's not very clear, so maybe I misunderstood.

I have a feeling Bring it On may be rereleased in a trilogy set or licenced out to someone like Mill Creek in a twofer.

Bring It On 2-4 were released as MOD, and MOD titles don't typically get such big price drops because they don't have such a large number clogging up warehouses that they need steep discounts to move product. They make more when the need arises.

I may be wrong, but isn't Bring It On one of the titles that used to be a standard general release but Universal has moved it to MOD with the re-release? That could be why it's not easy to find at the moment, and you'll only find MOD online or small indie businesses like Bull Moose.

Wouldn't mind a copy since it's an original David Mamet screenplay, but it's not very good -- wouldn't pay more than $5 for it.

Thereare copies for $8-11 on Amazon. I think it's $5 days are over unless it does get re-issued (not sure if it ever even got that low, but it's always been $10 or less). If not for being a Fox title, I would question if it was going OOP at all, but am pretty sure all of those are going out with only some coming back.

C’mon, this movie is awesome. Those bear attack scenes are pre-CGI intense. But Mamet should be enough reason to get this anyway.
Nice blu too...
