I hate that it's going to be released so close to PS5 and Xbox Series X both of which I need to have day one.... but i'm going to have to buy this as well...

I envy those still excited for the show, because the packaging for the complete series releases have been fantastic so far.

Right now these steelbooks dont "wow" me, but with them being only 30$ more then the regular release I'll probably still get them over the regular.

Only question really is if I'll have to keep the blus for special features or not.

$240 is a heck of a good price. I'm sure I spent quite a bit more than that buying the individual blu steels and that was all Day 1 pricing (meaning I didn't have to resort to eBay or anything). A positive is at least those steels all matched

This is going to be a tough one...

Stacked discs kind of ruin it for me; plus I have the complete limited set (the wooden Blu-ray one). I also wonder if the 4k set will have the same extra's as the limited blu-ray set.

Yep, just under $32/season for me. Of course S7/S8 were much shorter, but I’m very okay with this price.

I just never really liked the "GOT" branding; the name of the show is already three syllables long, so pronouncing it "Gee Oh Tee" doesn't save any time.
