Just added 3 more catalog titles from Paramount to my future purchase list: Timeline, Sons of Katie Elder and Uncommon Valor at just $9.99 each.

No need to look for digital code deals on these because they are not included.

I pre-ordered the BD of "Shivers" form Amazon. It's going for $12.69, which is a great deal.

Did you order Magic Box's release of The Painted Bird? It came out on April 29th. Or did you pre-order the Eureka edition which shows no release date yet?

Czech all region version. I take it that is the Magic Box one? I contacted Eureka and they said the Blu-ray might be released later this year. Thought I would grab the English friendly all region disc.

I bought it from DiabolikDVD if that helps?

I've never ordered from them before; might have to give them a try.

Ordered several times from them, never had any issues. They are a great source for region free releases.

Be careful with them. They do offer stellar packing of your items, but their policies are lame. So if you pre-order items now they charge your card immediately. They do not price match, so if an item you ordered goes way down, you're stuck with their price. If somehow your item arrives damaged in transit, they will not refund your money, just give you store credit.

Yes the Digital Codes are going up in price or nonexistent, but Vudu has been running some good deals. You can find those Movies in HDX, like now Sons of Katie Elder is on sale for $8. I have been finding lots of good Movies for $10 or less, some still in Theaters. I bought and watched The Invisible Man in UHD for $10.

I am fortunate in that I do not have to be concerned about a $2 price difference. Besides, the Vudu version will not play while I am here

Both are very nice rigs, especially that RV, but the screens are too small in the first picture for watching movies in my spoiled opinion.

Many LG OLED TVs, 65" and larger, sold in S. Korea from model year 2016-2019 are overheating and are being recalled for repair.

"LG Electronics is recalling around 60,000 OLED TVs that were sold in South Korea to replace their power boards due to possible overheating issues, the company said."

https://www.zdnet.com/article/lg-to-...heating-issue/

"In response to a follow up question put to it by The Verge, though, LG was less categorical, saying that it was 'investigating other markets' for the issue."

SEOUL, July 20 (Yonhap) -- LG Electronics Inc. said Monday it will offer free repair of TV power boards in South Korea due to a possible heating risk.

The South Korean tech firm said it will replace power board components for 18 OLED TV models, including the OLED 65G8 and the OLED 77W9, that were produced between February 2016 and September 2019 and sold here.

Its TVs sold overseas are not subject to the repairs, according to LG.

LG said some of its TV power boards carry the risk of current overflow after performance degradation of a current-controlling component.

LG said it has so far fixed 22,000 out of 60,000 TVs that need new power boards

Looks like it will be quite awhile before we see some of the new tentpoles in theaters and even longer for home video. Some info here.

I was worried back in February that I wouldn’t be able to amass enough titles to last over this barren spell but I have enough already to cover me until next December. I have actually spent more this year than any other year, wasn’t expecting that!

Happy to provide a list if people are interested.

I'm actually in the same boat. I counted and so far I've purchased 113 titles this year. Definitely a record for me and much more than I should have. I would say 90% of them were $15 or less so I guess it could have been worse.

I’m finding great deals on UHD and the occasional Blu Ray.

Buying and watching more seems right or at least I’m enjoying it.

It is day 7 of my 10 day self-isolation and so far, so good.

I will not be attending anything before there is a safe and effective vaccine and I have been inoculated with it. I learned my lesson and I will not be taking any more unnecessary risks.
