If you notice, there's not one mention of Marvel nor any appearance of the Marvel logo.

I'm reading that the Marvel brand on this is not being used, because they want to distance themselves from the horror content. I don't know if this is just speculation, but it doesn't make any sense if true. Even The New Mutants movie has the "in association with Marvel" logo included. And what about the forthcoming Doctor Strange 2 and Blade reboot? Are they not going to be horror on some level, or maybe just not including the Marvel logo?

No, me thinks this is just some spin being used (maybe by Hulu and the producers of the series), simply because Disney and Marvel want to distance themselves and the Marvel brand from this show as much as possible -- probably because it's not produced by Kevin Feige and also because it just looks terrible.

Well The New Mutants would've had a in association with Marvel logo on it anyway like all the previous Fox Marvel stuff, because it's not made by Marvel Studios.

I didn't notice there was no Marvel signage, which is strange, but it was going to be even less in the MCU than AoS and all the other Marvel shows anyway... plus they made them the kids of a serial killer and not Satan, so they've kind of messed it up already to begin with.

I hadn't heard it was only going to be one season, but I wasn't expecting it to continue. I think it had just gotten too far into production to shut it down without costing them too much money when Marvel TV was closed and Feige became the total overlord with Marvel Studios taking over everything.

I'm sure it wasn't initially meant to be just one season, but once Feige took over, everything Marvel-on-Hulu was cancelled, but since the first season of Hellstrom was already in production, they allowed it to finish out. Of course, there was no chance of it getting a second season.
