I mean I can’t blame him for wanting off a train wreck of a franchise like the jets. So mismanaged from top to bottom for years.

Kinda like your boy Dak? The same clown who cried about being disrespected by being offered only 37 million per for 5 years. Give me a break you Cowboys homer.

Not really a Cowboys homer, having the moron Garrett in Dallas from 2006-2019 pretty much hammered my optimism about the team out of me.

They can’t do bubble tournament style play because of roster size. One NFL roster is almost the size of a NHL/MLB/NBA roster combined.

Do you ever do any research prior to posting?
are you saying that the nfl couldn’t have engineered a mask or face shield that would cover the open part completely, and then put in anti fog film on it so it doesn’t prevent vision? something covering the entire head, and also modified with a two way filter for inhale exhale, would absolutely prevent the spread.

i’m not an engineer, but that doesn’t make the idea would any less feasible.

the nfl has spent more on safety measures then any other league? than why were so many players speaking out last week about wanting to know

also, you provide no solutions and only excuses. as if you had absolutely faith in the nfl, a vote on confidence that isn’t even shared by the players.

maybe that changed in the last week. weren’t teams supposed to report to camps today?

so what happens when one person on the team gets it? it’s still a two week quarantine. so if it isn’t a severe case, they only miss one game.

but if it’s someone in the huddle, than don’t you have to sit your offensive front? it’s one thing if just a running back or wide receiver goes down. but if you have to sit your whole line for a game...

You mean the Oakley mouth shield the NFL debuted back on July 13th?

imo they should of made those mouth shield mandatory instead of optional.

I think I heard Russell Wilson has been practicing with that helmet in case it becomes mandatory. After today's new Florida outbreak, I'd be 0% surprised if it does become mandatory.

The best way to protect: players, staff, production, facility is to not play.
Yes, it’s not ideal but this is a global pandemic ravaging every corner of the planet. Fans can sit safely in their homes watching these people risk infection.
Pro sports are not essential. Let the pandemic run its course without adding thousands of potential cases to already overflowing medical centers.
MLB had its opening weekend and the Miami Marlins are in a state flux after having so many positive test results. Baseball is the most socially distant of the Big4 sports.
Sometimes you have to take a step backwards to take two steps forward.

wow. i’m surprised this isn’t getting more attention and made mandatory. i mean really, why are they even thinking otherwise?

there would have to be a solution for travel that needs to be worked out. a baseball game was cancelled, so i’m sure that will have a far reaching impact.

i’m a hockey person first, so i’m curious to see if how their return to play turns out. but they’ve eliminated the wrinkle of travel. but you can’t do it with football. unless maybe you taped games throughout the week and just aired them on sunday? which only adds another wrinkle of keeping the result secret until aired.

Multiple games were canceled and MLB is reviewing whether or not the season will continue beyond today.

As a Phillies fan I watched the series(dropping 2/3) and the reports at the start of each game are staggering. If I’m the Yankees(due to play a 4 game series at Philly), I’m saying no to playing in that visitors clubhouse.
And this is the first weekend of baseball, much more socially distant than football. Covid is highly contagious, we know this. There’s no way you can stop it during sports.
Wait for a vaccine to be developed. If Pro Sports miss a season, oh well it’s a small price to pay.

Watch the MLB do something weird like cancel the season for the Marlins and the Phillies but have every other team continue.

Eventually it'll be like the Snap in the MCU lol one day a team is part of this short season and the next second, they're gone.

0% chance of that happening. Even NASCAR, the literal socially distant sport...by miles...had its most decorated driver miss a race(and end his consecutive start streak) due to Covid.
I get there is a lot of money on the table, but this is just getting beyond dumb.

The interest is mutual, per Rapoport, as Griffen narrows his list of options. Vikings coach Mike Zimmer has continued to say he would welcome Griffen back and ESPN's Jeremy Fowler also reported the Cardinals could bring in Griffen to elevate their pass rush. Of the three, the Packers actually make the least amount of sense due to investing so much at the position in recent years - Za'Darius Smith, Preston Smith and Rashan Gary, just to name a few. This could be an agent-driven play to drive up Griffen's eventual signing price.

“It’s just a matter of how sick they get,” Arians continued. "We’ve got to be careful." This season will be unlike any other. Positive cases will be confirmed, and it appears the NFL will attempt to power through them with a multi-week quarantine for impacted players and staff members - and a larger practice squad to pick replacements from. Arians is a three-time cancer survivor and took measures to aid his health even before this offseason, including riding a golf cart during practice and handing play calling responsibilities to Byron Leftwich. Arians, at 67 years old, is at higher risk than other coaches around the league. As is safeties coach Nick Rapone (64) and quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen (64). “It’s the team that adapts and has the most discipline, they’re going to win,” Arians concluded. This level of honesty is appreciated, but also chilling.
