Looks like they went back and used the same designs as they had with the Batman: Under the Red Hood movie. I don't know how much more they can really explore with the Death in the Family, though, since this is only an extended DC Showcase short.

I'm guessing each of the optional alternate endings will feature a different version of who Jason Todd becomes after his "death" --- Hush, Red Hood, or Red Robin. I'm curious how this will play out in the digital release version, since the interactive feature is only available on blu-ray. I suppose the digital version will be extended to show all three alternate endings within a single run of the movie.

Someone in the 4k thread for this said there will be both interactive and non interactive versions I believe.

In the trailer, it says that the interactive version is only available on blu-ray, so I assume the digital version is interactive free. Unless you mean that you think both versions will also be available on blu-ray, which does make sense for those of us who would rather watch the movie straight through and see all the optional endings without having to play a game with our remote controls.

Yeah, I just saw in the 4K thread that someone suggested a "view-all" feature for playing the film in one viewing with all three options. That's probably what they'll do.

Another assumption I have to make is that since this is under the banner of DC Showcase Animated Shorts, in addition to this newly produced extended short feature, it will also serve as a collection of previously released DC shorts, much like how Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam did. I'm guessing the showcase shorts of Sgt. Rock, Death, The Phantom Stranger, and Adam Strange will be included, but it's a possibility the Catwoman short may not be since it seems to be an exclusive companion piece to Batman: Year One.

Bruce Greenwood is always welcome as Batman in my opinion. Looking forward to this one.

Would be a great opportunity for WB to include (in HD) the 2003 Catwoman short "Chase Me" that was an extra on the Mystery of the Batwoman release.

Would also like to see the 2014 Batman short "Strange Days" included as well.

Honestly, this is not what I was expecting, but OMG, it's SO good to see the Under the Red Hood art style again!! You think Superman will be in the story, like in the original comic?

Hey, I just noticed that the Cheetah design in the trailer here.

Is the same one from the 2009 Wonder Woman animated movie.

How neither of those were put on the BTAS Blu Ray I’ll never understand.

Include those, any of the JLAction shorts that were never put out with the DVD’s and I would be ecstatic.

The Shorts Included with this are

SGT Rock Death Adam Strange and Phantom Stranger.

https://www.dccomics.com/blog/2020/0...-a-choiceagain

I guess we do get a sort of non interactive version on blu ray

Viewers can also choose to allow the story to tell itself, with an included option to let the Blu-ray decide its own path (but really, why would you do that?).

Im debating if I should pre-order or just rent the disc when it comes out. It should be interesting regardless
