Doesn't accept a non-UK/ROI delivery address, but thank you nonetheless.

They say they "had to suspend international deliveries due to unreliable postage estimates at this time".

Deep Discount replied to my e-mail and cancelled my order for me. Doesn’t seem to be cancelled on their website but it doesn’t find you much information anyway. Oh well, officially excited for this set

Yes, hoping for black cases with the art being the same as the blu ray releases, and a full slipcover.

I watched the first season of GOT on 4K disc and that's it so far. I liked it but after the ending bombed as bad as it did I considered not buying it given how much it costs. In the end I caved in and picked up the steel book set from BB. It will give me something to watch for a while during these strange times. Hopefully the ending won't sour the experience for me too much.

I've watched it once since it ended. I skipped the last 3 episodes of season 8. I'll probably do the same thing when I watch it in 4K.

I’d say watch and judge for yourself, don’t let others put a downer on your viewing. Is it perfect? No, but (IMO) far from the dumpster fire that some folks act like it is. Hopefully you’ll forget about the negativity and just come to your own conclusion if anything you’ve bought one of the pinnacle shows that looks leaps and bounds better on UHDBR than most people saw it (streaming/Cable/Satellite).

Never believe everything other people say (including my comment - which is also bias). Form your own opinion. There are people who loved the finale (including me); I thought the ending was very fitting and if you pay close attention throughout the show many ''twists'' won't come out of anywhere at all (a comment I often read about the final season). Imo the ending of each character (there's maybe one ending I would have done otherwise, but that's it) is quite fitting. There was so much hype around GoT that it would have been impossible to please everyone. Also, don't forget: the loudest voice will be heard. Negative opinions are always easier to find if they're out there. But that's my opinion. And you should just form your own; just gave mine to argue that there's love for the show aswell.

Great to see other people that actually liked it! Sometimes i've thought that me and my lom were the only ones that actually liked the finale.

Add me to the crowd that was satisfied. I was no more or less positive about it than many other seasons really. All have their ups and downs.

Lom (digging bar) - a long metal hand tool used as a lever or to break up soil or objects.

Well if a lom likes it thats all that really matters.

I liked the finish for Game Of Thrones except for one thing:I think Cercei deserved worsed, to be jailed in a deep dungeon where she could regret and purge all the evil she made. She deserved to live and know what evil and having a real true hard time for living meant. Something she used to do for all her life, nothing like giving bad people a taste, or a lifetime, of her own medicine.

I'm not saying I believe the ending sucks because other people think so. I'm just saying that when you have a long series that is going to take alot of time to watch and it costs alot of money...There is a risk of getting burned and when the majority don't like something that increases the chances that it won't be satisfactory. Despite that, I have ordered the set so I'll judge the end for myself. If I like it then it won't bother me at all if most other people didn't like it. Differing opinions exist for everything. It's all about taking a leap of faith and it's harder to do when a large part of the audience walked away unhappy. That's all I'm saying. If this were a $20 movie it wouldn't have been an issue.

Everyone I watched the final season with loved it. We also didn't have any issues with the "dark episode" that plagued so many people.

I don't think the finale or where the characters end up is the problem. It's what they do, as well as the lackluster events from S7 until the end that are bad. Fan service also reached an all-time high, with many cases not feeling earned.

[Show spoiler]Jon Snow being sent back to the wall is BS! He should have became king. Since everyone believes Bran enough to make him king. They would have believed him enough about who Jon really is.

Well to be fair to the people discussing the ending, this show ended awhile ago and this is an entire series thread. If people want to do their best to avoid spoilers, this thread should be something they stay out of.
