I don't know if anyone else has already mentioned this in another thread - I've seen discussion regarding the free shipping to the U.S. before and just noticed that if my "Region and Language" setting was set to U.K. I was charged $9.99 for shipping and if it's set to U.S. shipping was free. Each region seems to be it's own "account", too. I see I had a couple of orders under the U.K. region with one of these steelbooks.... the only one I paid to have shipped. I must have changed the region at some point for something. I think there was one instance where some other item was only showing up on the U.K. version of the site.

I think if you just make sure you go to us.zavvi.com you don't really need to worry about messing with the Region Settings. I pulled it up in an Incognito window and it's defaulted to the right settings. You will have to re-enter your account info if you've never ordered from there before since it does track the orders separately.

Re: the items only showing up on the UK Site, I don't know how they make that call or it they just forgot to mark the right thing. These days they might be only making them open for Red Carpet members (the UK only "premium" service)

I believe it has to do with disc region coding sometimes.

I realize that 4K is region free but before 4K I noticed that some Zavvi steelbooks that had Blu-ray discs that were region "B" weren't available on the US site.

That's as good a reason as any I guess... Logic and Zavvi don't go hand-in-hand most of the time

The circle is now complete.
Now, let’s see what actually shows up in the mail.
