Everything I've received from Bullmoose is in an envelope. I placed a huge order with them and they broke it up in a bunch of envelopes. Returned 2 smashed titles, they resent in envelope again. Smashed. I never order from them if packaging is vulnerable...

I only ordered once from them and it did arrive in an envelope, damaged. And returns aren't as painless as Amazon because you have to send the old one back first, and wait until they get it before they ship out a replacement.

The item is unopened. I am sending it back for a full refund and Bullmoose is covering return shipping.

I ordered 14 items from Zavvi back in Apr. when Amazon UK wasn't shipping to the US. All items arrived in bubble mailers individually. Needless to say that was the last order I ever made from them.

Now where can I order this from and have it properly packaged and arrive in good condition?

He did a lot of one shot guest appearances on other TV shows in the late 70's, including his Emmy nominated performance on Medical Center.
I found this on youtube last week after I watched that episode. 70's TV really was something else.

Default Regarding the blue issue on WW blu-ray.

I mentioned it before but i've managed to check out other episodes. Some are better than others but i'm really shocked if nobody else can see how there really is a blue-ish' tint to some episodes. The worst episode i've found if anyone can check and get back to me is 'Season 2 episode 'Light-Fingered Lady' This episode is very blue tinted as if I were wearing sun glasses that added that effect. Even the intro.. with the WW theme and clips from various episodes is quite tinted .. if you forward to other episodes on the same disc the intro is nowhere near as bad.

It's a real shame. I'm aware that some of us are colour blind or don't see the exact same thing as everyone else. This episode 'Light-Fingered Lady' was the fist episode I put on when first checking out the release and was really worried. However it seems this is the worst i've found other episodes are not as bad.

I'm not technically minded or knowledgable so apologies for the basic way i've described the issue I see. I just wonder if others see what I do?

It's on to Season 3 this week, as I continue to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of this beloved series. I hate for it to end. But I can always give it another "spin."

...and without being at the mercy of some online provider, monthly subscription fees, Internet access and the like.

Getting physical with Wonder Woman on Blu-ray for the win!

Color temperature.
It was discussed earlier in the thread. Cooler color temperatures (bluish whites) also throws off other colors a tad; lips, flesh tones, etc. I'm only on episode 16 — Anschluss '77 — but I have notice it a little here and there; mostly in the pilot episode.

well it certainly isn't exactly the best remastering going by a quick peek at first episode of each disc
even Mill Creek for goodness sakes had a much higher quality release with Charlie's Angels
Little House On The Prairie too

first episode has teal odd colors, traces of grain
colors appear to get a bit better for remaining episodes but sadly grain even worse
basically looks like it was all shot a few years ago on a Canon 5D Mark III using the waxy, smeary internal HD recording and nothing remotely like anything shot on film (or a top quality video cam method)
the final couple discs seem to have some episodes that have some parts that have more grain and more detail and loo punchier and better

they way overdid the DNR

that said, it's not quite as bad as screencaps on this site made it seem, the DNR wasn't full obliterate ALL details like TCAT reissue and it certainly looks way better than we ever saw it on TV back in the day, maybe not a lot more fine, low contrast texture!, but much more high contrast detail and richer colors than NTSC but pretty far from what it could and should have been

It looks like WB used film grain management- another digital tool that's supposed to lift film grain slightly without sacrificing picture detail. It sounds good in principle however film grain management software lifts color detail along with film grain unfortunately, and the amount of lift varies from shot to shot due to film grain changes from shot to shot.
no DNR doesn't simply do that
also even the high contrast edges are not all there, many are a bit soft
and much of low contrast, fine high-frequency detail is gone

Digital noise reduction — what do you feel DNR does to picture quality besides removing image noise? Your observations on this particular release?

There were some remastering issues on the first 3 episodes, however I did notice improvement from episode 4 moving forward (posted earlier). I've only viewed the first 15 episodes, so it's impractical for me to discuss anything further into the release.
Color temperatures aside

WBMakeVMarsMovieNOW — What are your observations on video from the first 2 discs, the first 14 episodes?

Still no reply form Warner about getting a replacement disc for the missing credit. No idea how to proceed. Send another email? Do they have a phone number for support?

Found something weird. I saw it in other episodes, but in THE FINE ART OF CRIME, the last 15 minutes have a weird effect in which each shot starts out by zooming out. Previous versions didn't do this, so I am assuming it was a scanner issue. I let WB know about it.

This issue also happened on a Season 2 episode, during the entire opening credits. I don't recall which episode right now.

I didn't want to spoil the release so I stopped reading after people started to receive it: what exactly is missing where so I can check if my copy is affected?
