I deliberately avoided using the synopsis and special features information since that info is already available on the slipcovers which I plan on using along with these new customs. Also wanted to avoid using screenshots as they are so commonplace.

I found out that in case of Star Wars the opening crawl text is very good to put on the cover as a synopsis

It was their idea to not have the front artwork feature the three leads, and I dug it as it fit in with the whole "reboot" thing they were going for. Additionally, I felt having Sidney take the spot of the "big death" still on the back fit.

Bonus Material

Primarily focusing on the bonus disc with the documentaries, but I had it just say "Bonus Material" on the spine and put the "And More..." on the back to add additional discs.

I wish I could take credit for designing them, but I only had the concept behind them and had them commissioned since my graphic design isn't up to snuff, but I'll pass along your compliments to the designer! I only had them made without the logo on front. We did an initial concept with the film's logo on the front for all of them, and it ultimately made them all look way too cluttered.

My man.. People display them like this on here so you can see exactly what they would look like once there printed and in the cases, you want people to make the 4k logo smaller than what it is on the actual case (which would just look wrong) because you don't like the way it looks?

Sequel trilogy done. Do you guys think the lightsaber glows, laser blasts, etc. should be popping out of the frame on the fronts (like they are on the backs) or do they look better contained within the frame?

Also, a quick shout out to AmishParadise who had put together a Rise of Skywalker front cover a while back using the theatrical poster in the frame. That idea basically inspired my design choice for this set so big thanks for that my friend

I think it would look better in you switch the pictures in Rise of Skywalker. The one from the back would look as a great front cover, and the official picture is available in the more rectangular format, so it would fit well your design in the back, without having to crop it that much

Naah, I'm happy with the way the cropped images look on the back. Not perfect but still pretty cool. Plus, switching those pictures around would mean not having the US theatrical poster on the front which all the other covers have. Although, I am planning to do some alternate front options for the set so I can definitely make that German poster one of the alternates.

Watching the series finale of the below this evening. Thought I'd post the front cover image I worked up for use with DVD Profiler and My Movies. Figured some might find it useful. Hopefully Season 6 and Season 7 will be released on Blu-ray in the UK at some point. (Japan's Season 6 release is quite expensive.) We stopped seeing U.S. releases several seasons ago sadly.

I personally think it looks better w/ the light sabers running over the border, almost gives it a 3d feel.
